Snowy white

This is not really a very big deal, but still I've been thinking about it for quite some time now.
I have snowwhite hair, it turned white when I was very young. At first just above my ears, when I was only 18.
But now I'm in my 50's and it's completely white.
I'm thinking about giving it some colour. But I'm very scared I look like an idiot when I do that.
So I'm going back an forward with this.

I asked the IC this stupid question: "What if I dye my hair?"

It answered: 20.2.5>4

What do you make of this?

I only see my own hesitation in this answer. And that turning into 4, ... folly??

It looks like an echo this one - you are contemplating dying your hair so it would make you look younger. Maybe that is exactly what will happen. Why not try one of those semi-permanent ones first, to see how you like it? I have partially white hair and semi permanent hair colour covers it up to 12-16 washes.

That's a great idea, I haven't even thought of that! And I can do that myself too. And if I like it, I can always go to the hairdresser for a permanent one.

Entering a new realm of hair coloring....This could be taken literally maybe, seek for a female hairdresser, to give you highlights - if done moderately, could give you sophisticated look of grayish haired man.

You wonder how it will turn out, is that something that could work for you.
However, looking younger can one make fell younger as well.

p.s. the easiest way to try out the color would be to buy instant color product (Palette), washes away after a few shampooing, just use something light for starters.

Love your interpretation too dragona.
Highlights is also a very good idea.
Because my hair is really white white. Not greyish, but completely white. So if I give my hair some colour, after a little while the white will come out like a flashlight. And that's what keeps me hesitating.
But with highlights it won't come out that bright. It's more camouflaged.
I'm not so scared of using a non permanent colouring. If I really don't like it, I'll just spend a day in the shower

Gray/white hair differs in ways how it takes the coloration on. If you try instant color, it will go palid and away with each wash. Use something light, depending on your complexion, color of your eyebrows etc. Or just have highlights -its so common these days.

Update!

I went to the hairdresser this afternoon and told her about my dilemma.
Because my hair is so white and it grows really fast, the white will be back in a week time. And I don't want to dy my hair every week.

The hairdresser (a sweet girl) (Furthering for the perseverance of a woman ) told me about a method called "comb coupe soleil"
With a comb she made some darker lines in my hair.
It really looks great!

I'm so loving it!!

I never heard of that method before. Could learning about it be the 4?
