Sponsored Relatives: 14.4 to 26

A decade ago, my mom sponsored my aunt and cousin from Hong Kong to immigrate to the US. Several weeks ago, my dad saw that they are on the top of the waitlist. I asked, "What will happen to my relatives in Hong Kong next year?" 14.4 Great Processions to 26 Great Taming. Line 4 says, "It is not for you to dominate, No mistake." Does this mean that they will not come?

In her book, "I Ching Walking Your Path, Creating Your Future," Hilary translates 14.4 thus, "Nothing that does not bear fruit. Displaying integrity." I don't know what translation you are referring to but Hilary's seems to give a very positive omen.

Oh wait, I'm sorry. I was looking at 15.4.
Well 14.4 seems to say they can't jump ahead in line but "No mistake" could mean all works out for the best. I'd take this to mean their process goes forward in an orderly fashion. Do people in their position in line usually get to immigrate within the next 12 months? I would think this line is saying that your relatives will move forward in a way that is consistent with the usual pattern. Thus they won't come sooner than is usual but they won't be pushed back either. So if people in their place usually get to come within a year I would think getting this line means they will too.

Your question was about your relatives, so that's probably what the answer is about, too. But since you're the one who asked, there might be a small possibility Yi's saying that you, personally, shouldn't get involved in this. I don't know why that would be, of course.

For what it's worth, my own experience with warnings from Yi is often that Yi warns me because it ends up being what I'm irresistibly drawn to do. Then after I do whatever-it-was, then it'll dawn on me, oh, that's what Yi meant...

Or maybe if the response “it’s not for you to dominate” is saying Fanofenka has no authority in the situation which could be a way of saying she isn’t allowed this information? Or isn’t given all the information or the right information?
