I'm in a "brainstorming" phase of my life, in the sense that many ideas come to my mind about starting new things. Studying abroad is just one of them. This is February & if I want to apply, I should do it sooner rather than later.

Should I apply for a foreign university? 4.5> 59
I'm still young & have hopes, so why not?

Can I obtain a student visa from country A? 19uc
I should do my effort, but don't know about the outcome.

Can I afford the education fees? 27.6>24 [I consider the financial part to be the largest obstacle]
There is danger, but promise, too. (Once I received this cast for moving out of home. I did, but returned in less than a year).

Can I be admitted in University A? 35.4>23
No.

What about another university in the same country?13.2.5.6> 34
I should try, instead of limiting my options to university A.

What do you think?

The world is your oyster. Trust the process you are going through right now. Work more, in this phase of your life, on building a calm / settled approach or perspective towards your future and this will allow any of your limiting thoughts to run their course.

... or it might mean nothing like this at all.

Good Luck

this looks promising. I don’t have a lot to add because I agree with your interpretations. 35.4 I’m not sure is a “no”… I never like receiving this line either and it’s actually one that I am still trying to understand but I think it often is giving advice. In this case, it might be saying that worrying about whether or not you’ll get in is out of your hands. So do your part all the way, 100%, and leave the rest to the universe or however you think of it. Put your whole self into what you choose to try to do, 27.6, to me, had a similar message. I don’t think it’s a negative line at all actually (even though any line can be of course) but one that asks “where else is there to go but the place the risks something real for you?” You can tread water or you can go across and see what’s there. 4.5 implies to me that this would be the beginning. So even though it would take great effort to get there, that’s still just the beginning. So your optimism, openness, and courage are your best assets. Let it all be new and exciting.

I think you had some nice encouraging answers. They are all proactive, hopeful, exploratory.

Then you got 35.4 you took as 'no' . I don't think that's a 'no' because all the previous questions relied on you doing things to make things happen.

Should I apply for a foreign university? 4.5> 59
Yes, why not. The young sprout seeks to learn.

Can I obtain a student visa from country A? 19uc
I should do my effort, but don't know about the outcome.
Yes it's about work and effort in the spring time to get the harvest in the 8th month. If no work is done in the spring in the 8th month it shows. The outcome isn't set in stone all you can do is go ahead and make an application.
Can I afford the education fees? 27.6>24 [I consider the financial part to be the largest obstacle]
There is danger, but promise, too. (Once I received this cast for moving out of home. I did, but returned in less than a year).
Another answer showing you as a pioneer really. In 27.6 one is the source of nourishment, you're the one who creates this future, there's promise and there's danger.

So it seems to me these are very open answers, the future isn't decided, you make it up as you go along, you create the future.

Then you asked this question as if it were already known ahead of time which I don't think it is, I mean if all actions were already known ahead of time there would be no point in taking creative action. So I think it quite possible this was a comment on the process of the questioning. That is Yi started commenting on what you were doing with the questioning

Can I be admitted in University A? 35.4>23
No.
So after you have had big expansive answers you may have switched to 'scrabbling around' like a rodent in your approach. Even if it wasn't that this cannot be reduced to 'no'. The line describes a rodent scuttling to the food store, taking small amounts, scurrying off to hide them. You know the furtive quick little movements they make. But the line is neutral. I mean sometimes we do have to act that way if we are fearful of loss.

What about another university in the same country?13.2.5.6> 34
I should try, instead of limiting my options to university A.
Why not apply to both?

I just checked the websites and learned that the tuition fees have increased more than tenfold- the country used to apply the same prices for national & foreign students, which isn't the case anymore.

Actually I've been thinking about this thread anyway, before you posted today, where I've said 'yeah go for it' as if you just could but realised I'd never have had the courage myself to do what you are asking about. Go to a new country to study 😮

:sofa:

I mean I do think the readings are great and encouraging but I just wanted you to know I do think it's a terrifying prospect. I mean I know lots of people do it but I'm not one of them. It's all very well telling other people to do these brave things - from the safety of my couch, or from behind it, but I do recognise it's a very big deal.

Thanks Trojina;

I'm keeping on searching for universities in other countries & bourses. Leaving for abroad is exciting but stressful on itself, let alone for someone with limited financial resources.
