Hullo all. I requested a "picture of the energy" between myself and another person, as Stephen Karcher has suggested, and got 14.1.3.4 > 4. I always love seeing 14 pop up, but the 4 seems to be tempering my enthusiasm. I could use another view...thanks!

hmmm....

the core, primary, focus appears to be on the 'fact' of the energy, a picture of it and so presenting something you can see, its 'thing-ness'.

the secondary focus is on seeing it NOW.

These two foci cover the first two lines of a hexagram as yang and so cover all hexagrams with lake/heaven as base trigrams. The overall focus as such is on sensation seeking.

Lake covers issues of cooperative exchange (and so includes passion).
Heaven covers the more competitive form of exchange (anger, singlemindedness etc - and so the ease in which anger and sex can easily share the same space with context eliciting one or the other or some mix)

Your initial posting is not too detailed, but here are a few thoughts that I saw in the situation.
14 - What you are feeling about the situation is correct. Your thoughts and words will have influence in teh long term
14.1 - You are finding things a bit of a chore at the moment. But don't worry about it.
14.3 - Be strong keep on doing what you are doing. Keep your own councel.
14.4 - Give this other person room and they will respond to you.

4 - The confusion you are feeling is part of your personal development. Work your way through this and it will bring you new understandings.

Thanks for your thoughts Mike...and Hexagon, I was only referring to Karcher's suggestions for framing questions to ask Yi. One of his suggestions is to ask for an image or a picture of the energy flowing between yourself and whoever else you're wondering about, if it's a relationship question.

I always thought it made sense as far as connecting with someone, or feeling obstructed from being closer, etc. But perhaps it's too close to asking what another person feels?
