Hello my friends (Dharma I hope you're reading this too)...

Just wanted to share a quick update on the health of my cat, Rocky.

For those of you who haven't heard the story yet, my cat, Rocky, is very old (he turned 22 in June) and requires a lot of maintenance. The Yi helped me save his life one day recently. Actually the Yi has helped me save him twice, but this last time was most amazing. He was literally at Heaven's gate. He was in serious distress. They advised me how to end the distress. It worked. But he was too weak to eat from the distress, and when I thought I was going to have to do the dread deed, they told me "Not yet!" and advised me how to bring him back to life. They told me hex 44 to 27.

So I force fed him...little bits at a time...all night long...until the Yi said enough. I force fed him the next morning. I force fed him until he was back to his old, demanding, furry pig self...which he actually hadn't been for awhile, but I thought it was just because he was old.

Since the Yi's advice, he's been eating better than he has for months and months...maybe even a full year. And until recently, the most he's done for months is eat and sleep. And it's been months since he's been on my bed. He's been too weak and feeble to jump up on the bed. He's been living on the sofa...it's easier to reach. I've missed him.

Well, lately he's been sitting up on the sofa quite awake and alert for considerable lengths of time... not always sleeping. And this week he's been on my bed a few times. He comes looking for me there when he's hungry. This morning, I was wakened by a cat nose nudging me. It's usually my little girl, Azzie, who wants me to turn the alarm off. With my eyes closed in sleep, I put my arm around the cat...but the fur was long, not short like Azzie's. I opened my eyes to discover, much to my joy, that it was Rocky. He was hungry.

Not only did the Yi help me save Rocky's life, but their advice helped give him renewed strength and vigor. I love Rocky. I love the Yi. I'm so happy to see the change in him. I'm a very happy person right now, and I just wanted to share that with you.

Love,

Val

Thanks for sharing that, Val.

Couldn't help but notice your reference to: "They told me."

Viewing Yi as a council. Interesting.

Watch him though, from renewed strength and vigor to naughtiness is only one step ...

Thank you both...

Very adorable pictures. I can relate to both Dharma's. Can't really relate to Martin's... yet. But maybe soon...*grin*

Love,

Val
