The hexagram he obtained: n.10, Proceed, mutating into hexagram n.4, The Juvenile Ignorant, in the highest line among the mutant ones (first and fourth unfavorable), on the fifth line portends good luck, although he is devout and mild (yin line) and therefore having passively accepted the situation. Consulting I Ching I show him that if only the fifth line of the initial hexagram n.10 is changed, this becomes hexagram n.38, Opposition which on the fifth line indicates a man who obtains the solution which develops if he will seek the Companion of the fifth line, which is described on the second line of hexagram 38, and enters into dialogue with him even if “in a narrow lane”. Some comments associate the fifth line of hexagram 38 with the deer meat that is bitten through the casing and which is a symbol of wealth. My friend then, following my advice, establishes new contacts with the lawyers in charge of the sale, without telling his sister, and through a return dialogue the buyers unexpectedly accept the clauses. The sale of the house was ultimately successful.
