Having surfed the IChing web for some time, looking for fellow enquirers, I happened upon this site. After offering Hilary a look at my IChing program, I waited patently and froze in a southern hemisphere winter while she sunned herself on a summer holiday, drawing conclusions here. Returning to her site to look for activity I found the online consultation method, OK why not! Being lazy I typed my standard question, Why. That edit control is way too small for a decent question anyway. Being lucid and lazy I didn't put too much thought into it either. And knowing the IChing frequently determines the question as well, I pressed the button.

13. Fellowship

Change at the beginning:
Fellowship with women at the gate.

Change in the fifth place:
After great struggles they succeed in meeting.

56. Wanderer

And yes, I am here for Fellowship, and I am the Wanderer.

In tune with the IChing, as usual.

Regards

Steve

Summer holiday??
Not exactly - as I think I explained when I emailed you.

Anyway, why not post the link to your program here? And welcome in :)

Here it is !

Well you expained some things, as I said I was drawing conclusions, never let the facts get in the way of a good story, dramatic liecense, there's that difficulty at the gate again, appologies anyway. I was, am slightly confused about the nature of this site, your not selling enough things! compared to all the other sites I've visited. Anyway I didn't want to come on and just advertise on your site without your permission, even though my program is completely free. After reading some other posts I think the main value of my program is to allow others to define their own labels, text, images and sequences and then use their own data in a running IChing program for both checking it's validity and diving their own words. NB. it's still at beta stage.

Thanks. First impressions of your program - I need a help file! What are all these labels and buttons? What does the program do? (Note - lots of people here have more clue about software than I do, and should give you a more intelligent response.)

I sell readings, an ecourse, and three recordings of remarkably interesting I Ching webinars, but no software. And I know my site needs redesigning; it's on the 'to do' list.

Yes it badly needs a help file. I have disabled some functionality for the moment pending a direction. The general direction has always been data definition, ie. allowing users to add and modify the Xgram labels and text and then drive the exploration & consultation with their data. It has had value to me, whether anybody else will find it usefull is yet to be determined. By the way I think your site is great, it's clean, functional, friendly, no adds and your giving it away, thanx.
