speaks about as an advice.
if I realize this (what Yi suggests), it will be easier for me to carry on from saddness (involving my mother and how she is)

I am just confused whether it is about my attitude - inferior thoughts etc.
OR it is advising to break away from her mentally inside of myself

its a bit diffiicult without the exact question to evaluate this, but i am not sure why you interpret this as inferior thoughts on your part? If anything, the reading suggests the opposite:

Wilhelm says:
"Times of deliverance demand inner resolve. Inferior people cannot be
driven off by prohibitions or any external means. If one desires to be rid of
them, he must first break completely with them in his own mind; they will
see for themselves that he is in earnest and will withdraw."

To me this clearly speaks of outside inferior influences, not inner ones. It encourages you to be consequent and resolved in your mind to remove these influences. If you seriously distance yourself inwardly, the outside component will recede by itself. 47 speaks of oppression, the opposite of 40 deliverance. So there is a context of oppression right now, of which you are advised to deliver yourself.

Or sounds like only Jun Tzu or noble man can fare well in this position.
Now Jun Tzu is a highly developed person in a moral sense , who is objective to himself and others.

Therefore, i think only being Jun Tzu can i feel

So what you suggest seems right freeing from oppression, really like i cant move, by realizing 40.5.....noble man position has to be strong there...
