So I am thinking of sending an email in work to get the ball rolling once again on a project.

So I asked: "What is the outcome of sending the email?" & got Hex 32 Unchanging.

So perseverance & endurance bringing success, but I have also seen interpretations of this Hex suggesting that things will continue as they are (as is nothing is really happening right now)

So confused about what it was trying to tell me I asked a follow up:

"How will sending an email be received?" & got 62.6 > 56 - Wow!

Am I right in thinking this message will be shot down like the little bird?! Not to send it at all - Misfortune!

After initially thinking 32UC was very promising & possibly fruitful; 62.6 is a very stark contrast.

Any input on these Hex's?

Hiya Newbie,

I am also a newbie myself so take my interpretation with a pinch of salt… :)
Based on my own experience I see 32 as a very auspicious hexagram. It talks indeed about perseverance and movement, but I think it mostly refers to an inner force, to something that is growing and developing inside; seems it's an idea in this particular case. So I think it indicates that, whatever idea you've got in mind it's worth working on it, persevering, because it's still not mature enough. So even though you're on the right track, you should be patient and take action (sending the email) in the future, but not now.

How will sending an email be received?" & got 62.6 > 56

I think it goes in the same direction: advising you not to take the initiative, because it won't be well received. Just keep a low profile because, despite your ideas are good, they are not “ripe” yet, and also the ones at the other end of your mail are not receptive. Just keep up the good work, take your ideas further and the right moment to share them will come.
