The Tokyo Olympics will still happen even when COVID is raging. Participants were required to sign a waiver of death. I feel that something wrong will happen.

How likely will COVID rage in Japan following the Tokyo Olympics? 50.2.4.5 The Cauldron/The Vessel to 53 Gradual Progress/Development/Gradual Advance.
50.2=Japan's long-time adversaries will avoid Japan.
50.4=Plans will get ruined by COVID.
50.5=There will be protocols.
Is it saying that there are plans brewing (50) that will lead to COVID raging (53)? In other words, it is likely?

Who will gain from hosting the Olympics during COVID? 1.1.2.3.5 The Creative Force to 35 Advancing/Progress.
Is it saying that the plan is working in the country's favor (1) where it will shine bright (35)?

This is a fun reading.

How I read this, with all the changing lines is "How likely will COVID rage in Japan following the Tokyo Olympics?': There will be an uptick. So maybe not a "rage" but an uptick that is caused by the Olympics.

Who will gain from hosting the Olympics during COVID? The "who" here is really interesting. Since there are four changing lines, my practice is to read the two unchanging lines of the resulting hexagram. So 35 Line 4 and 35 Line 6, taking the lower line as prevailing.

Line 4: Wilhelm/Baynes: Progress like a hamster. Perseverance brings danger. [In times of progress it is easy for strong men in the wrong places to amass great possessions. Maybe it is saying that folks who are doing shady dealings will profit most from this Olympics, but it's dangerous for them.
