Traditional chinese divination

Hi, I've been searching for a description on how an old traditional divination with Yarrow goes on in China. Any one who knows a link to example an Youtubevideo showing this or who have been in China consulting a diviner using yarrows willing to describe the process ?

I'll be most grateful for a link to a video on the subject.

How far back are you trying to go? We know nothing of the details or techniques of Yarrow divination before Zhuxi (1130-1200 CE). You can find that described in Zhuxi's works, translated by Joseph Adler. All we know of the old way is that it started the reading with 50 stalks. I personally have serious doubts that what we have now is the original method. That's as far back as we can date the yarrow stalk method that we have now, with its skewed probabilities favoring 9's over 6's. The coin method we can date as far back as the Tang.

What I simply meant was from our era; or from Formosa/Taiwan, even a black-white movie. Or someone being in China seeing it and willing to explain how it goes on.
Maybe a silly question, but on the other hand harmless curiosity.

Well, thanks to You. As the interest for I Ching amongst common people in the West is relatively new, maybe a hundred years, I couldn't expect to find any movie or description about the yarroworacletaking in practice from imperial time China. I've seen a lot of those given by Birocco; the closest is some drawings I've seen in books probably from the eighteens century China on the yarrowconsultation on street...

Maybe we can assume that the I had been contempted during the early days of the motion picture; the silent movie ? And even when sound were added to it ? Since no movie can be traced from those early 19'century on the subject... I mean, where one can see a fortuneteller counting the stalks and so on.
