So I asked how this guy I'm dating feels about me and got hexagram 31.2.4.6 to 57.

Then I asked if he's in love with me and got hexagram 14 unchanging!

What do you guys think? It's getting rather serious and I don't want my heart broken again...

In my experience, 31:4 shows that a person is interested in more than
one partners, and 31:6 is all about empty sweet-talking. The initial
changing line, 31:2, shows things going very slowly - did he take it
very slowly in the beginning? If yes the 2 subsequent changing lines
show why (he's also thinking of other women, while is still interested
in you). 57 means penetration, and also adaptation, so not sure how
seriously he views your relationship. It might be just physical, or he
might 'adapt' to your commitment.

Once I got a straight 14 about what a guy felt about me - it turned
out it's more or less what you said, ie that he both viewed me as a
possession, and also that "he wanted it all", have his cake and eat
it (turned out he had a girlfriend, and stated that he wanted to keep
us both!). Again, 14 can also mean "a lot", so i'm hoping your story
has a happy outcome.

I know. In college if I didn't like the assigned topics for essays I'd make up my own. Sometimes I was docked a letter grade, but it was worth it. In this case, doesn't love admit of degrees? If so, wouldn't you like to raise your boyfriend on that scale? If he could see what is inside your mind, I think it would.

Thank you all for your insight. I just posted a follow up in regards to this confusing relationship. Something just ehh doesn't gel. or maybe it's just me.. I've been going through a rough time personally and maybe its reflecting back on me through this relationship. I dunno..

Pocossins original answer was more valuable than the question you actually put. I think you should think about it more.

How can anyone here tell you if he loves you or not. who knows, I don't, its anyones guess
