Being unemployed for several months I asked what I should do to get a job: 12.2 > 6.

I guess, for now there is nothing that I could do, it's a time to stand aside and to endure.

When will the period of my unemployment be over? 21.5 > 25.

Something important requires sorting out; remaining perseverant is also required.

I think the most important factor for you in order to get a new job is to stay strong and keep your confidence up. That is not an easy thing when being in that situation, I know! But this is what the reading advises:
Wilhelm says:
"Thus the superior man falls back upon his inner worth
In order to escape the difficulties.
He does not permit himself to be honored with revenue.

This would to me indicate, don't compromise your principles, don't lower your demands and requirements. That could mean that you might be tempted to go for a lower-level job than you are really qualified for, and that would not be beneficial.
By staying strong however, success will eventaully follow. Line 2: "The standstill serves to help the great man to attain success."

I must confess I am not sure how to read the changing hex 6 in this context, but Hex 6 has always puzzled me Hopefully someone else has a clearer picture of it!

The second question seems to have some echos of the first one - biting through and persevering in order to get to the other side (employment). The fact that your changing line is Line 5 could say that you are already well advanced on your way to biting through the difficulties, and Hex 25 could be saying, don't alter your course now ("If someone is not as he should be, He has misfortune, and it does not further him oo undertake anything.) So in other words, stay with what you know to be right, and things will work out for you.

Yesterday I decided to ask if I get a job within next three months: 30.2.5 > 1. I must say, the reading does not seem unequivocally auspicious, "a flood of tears" in 30.5 confuses me. Well, I'll keep you updated as I promised, let's wait and see.

Since this is a predictive question, I'd use Wen Wang Gua to read it

a) The first thing that caught my eye in 21zhi25 is that 25 is a total conflict hexagram. In the Wen Wan Gua method to read the Yijing, a total conflict is an hexagram where the earthly branch attached to every line clashes with the earthly brach attached to another one. This is a bad sign. Fortunately, this bad sign is present only in the changed hexagram. This means that finding a job would be difficult, with several obstacles.
