What are the chances of me getting the job? Hex 1.4.5.6 to 11

I recently started out in a job I really like. Most of all I find there is a great match between me and the company I am working for. A couple of weeks ago my manager announced she is leaving the company in order to start her own business. She asked me to apply for her job since she saw me as the right person to replace her.

A bit of background: for 6 years I have been something of a social worker, but felt constricted by the bureaucracy. Since last year I have been starting up my own small practice. When I told this to the company I worked for they asked me to leave because in there eyes their was a conflict of interests. I found a highly paid job in the private sector in human resource. Thought I hit the jackpot, but it turned out to be a toxic working environment. I left and found my current job, which pays much less but I am so much happier with my overall working conditions. Now, I might have an opportunity to take a step up the ladder again.

There are 4 other applicants for the job from within the company as far as I know off, so lots of competition and no idea how my chances are. I asked the I Ching what my chances are:

Oh I don't know about this one. There is so much energy in this reading, but nothing concrete.
In line 4 the potential is there
In line 5 the potential manifests
But in line 6 perhaps there is the advice to remain humble.

11 the expression of creative energy.

There is a blessing somewhere in this reading. But I wonder if the blessing is about me getting the job or something else entirely.

Sorry for the late reply! I am in the middle of moving houses so my outer world is certainly a-changing and really busy too. I got a call from our manager last week that nothing has been decided yet but he wants to have a second chat with me. There is a lot for me to take into account when considering this job for myself.

As you are in the process of setting up your new home you might benefit from looking into feng shui enhancements for employment. Wash the outside of your front door, bowl of 3 oranges on the table etc.

Update: I didn't get the job. The feedback was that I was a good candidate but not enough experience in the field (3 months so I get that) to start climbing the career ladder already.

First feeling that went through me was sheer relief. A lot going on in my life and also working on building my own practice next to this job.

Even the wisdom you normally employ will be tested by the competition you feel in this selection process. This is a time to trust yourself though. Whatever the outcome this is a real chance for you to be the real you.

I still feel riddled with anxiety and self-doubt when it comes to my dreams, but I think this is another signal for me to put my fears aside and keep focussing on building my own practice. That's the real me right there. I can see how this reading played out.
