I watched a youtube video proclaiming the miraculous healing effects of drinking large amounts of distilled water. I consulted the I Ching asking what would be the benefits for me to drink distilled water and was surprised to get hexagram 32.3.4 - 7. The lines read like there would be no benefit at all. Does anyone see another way of interpreting this? Incidentally, I am in good health already so perhaps Duration just means my good health continues but the lines are so meh I am puzzled.

32.4 : you won't find what you are looking for there.

Have you considered a charcoal filter for your sink?
Makes water slightly alkaline.
(good for your bones/anti osteoperosis.)

Thanks for considering my question, Moss. After posting I got the inspiration that with 32.3 IC was pointing out that we tend to take on or align with many things, attitudes that are not our own that settle into our aura like stagnant water and that the distilled water disrupts these magnetic connections (dis - stills the water). Then 32.4 could be describing the resulting neutral space our body thus becomes, ready to make brand new connections and alliances based on current information rather than just reacting in the same old stuck patterns, prejudices. I see hexagram 7. The Army as representing our inner selves, impulses, which will now align with the mind's new clear intention, like soldiers following their officer.
So I'm going to go forward assuming drinking distilled water has a de-magnitising effect .

I haven't done anything with a charcoal filter. I'll speak to my husband about it. Thanks!

Hi Rosada,
Just to add a detail that came to mind, in 7 water is stored below earth, which sounds a bit like water retention to me. Or it could mean drink natural spring water? Really not sure here what water below earth means in this case, but it must have some importance.

I would think so as well ... If there is no natural spring water available, you could revitalise the (distilled) water with minerals from gem stones like berg chrystal, amethyst and rose quarz. It is easy, inexpensive and very effective.
Untreated distilled water however is empty of minerals and electrolytes and very unhealthy on the long run. Maybe the metaphor "no game in the field" of line four is referring to this emptiness?

Hmm..."Water retention" does sound like 7! Maybe also a reference to water and the Earth's minerals.
Thanks!

So how does one revitalize the water with stones, just put them in the water and let them sit for a bit?

... I simply put a rock chrystal, a rose quarz and an amethyst into a pitcher and wait a bit. At the latest after one hour you can even taste the difference. (Some sources say after 10 minutes, others after 8 hours). You also have to clean them regularly, for example with sea salt or simply brushing the stones under cold water and lying them into the sunlight for one day.

It's recommended to use the three mentioned stones as a base mix, together they have a equilibrating effect and are unproblematic for daily use. You can experiment with other stones or just use a single gem, rose quarz, for example. But then of course you have to be especially aware of the various effects that stones do have on your organism.

I tried to find some information on english language sites and saw that the state of art now is to put them into fancy pitchers, where the stones don't get in touch with the water, in order to prevent it from having contact with undesirable substances that may come off from the stones. I don't know if this is necessary, but everybody needs to decide for themselves of course.

here is a link with a bit of information and an ordering option. (But I never bought anything there.)

Hi Rosada!

I have always heard that drinking distilled water is no good as we need what is inside the water for our body.

these things in distilled water have been taken away to be of use in... the iron for example!
