I'm about to move into a new apartment and I'm hoping some bigger changes will come with it. I struggle a lot with stagnation so I'm hoping I can use this transition as a springboard into being more alive I guess. I get the sense that this reading is saying "don't settle in too much." The lease is only 6 months long and my dad is talking about buying property out of state in the semi-near future, so maybe it's telling me this is a smaller transition within a bigger one and that I shouldn't get too comfortable/relaxed/attached. Could be that this is a transition that will endure for awhile. What do we think?

I wonder in this case if 56.6 could just mean don't put too much pressure on yourself? Maybe feeling like you have to make the most of it could ruin it for you (the nest-burning in the line).

You wouldn't want to get to the end of the six months, or however long you're there, and feel like if you're not 100% who you want to be, you've failed. That sounds like a good way to crash and burn. Hopefully there's a middle ground.

Reads like a choice about who you should and shouldn’t embody.

Be like 56.2 - an upstanding tenant, despite your short stay.

Don’t be like 56.6 - burning some bridges through any actions or behaviors that might spoil your short stay.

Also, don’t burn down the inn literally. Watch your stove use?

Good luck and enjoy your new apt.

That makes sense, maybe the cow thing is telling me that it's best to let myself be guided as I go along rather than expecting anything particular our of the situation. Then again, the line does feel like it's telling me not to be too lighthearted or confident. I'll try to find a middle ground on that one I guess :)

Haha it's funny, I was touring the place with someone and they made a comment about how I could escape a fire through the patio. I'll keep an eye on it for sure. I also have a history of beef with loud neighbors so I think this time if there's an issue I'll just knock on their door with some cookies and a friendly request to quiet down.

Don't. Don't expect bigger changes because that could be the line 6.....also 32 as relating points to things going on as usual and it is okay for things to go on as usual.

A good thing happened, you got an apartment, that is good for your life. In line 2 the traveller comes to a good spot to stay...he is still a traveller and he doesn't make big plans he just focuses on the day.

I think the more you big this up in your own mind the more down you will get if there is no springboard. I do think Yi is saying it's a good thing but don't make it mean more than it does. 32 is there, you are still you, changing locations doesn't make you another person and that's okay. Don't set yourself up for feeling deflated down the line if it isn't an answer to everything you thought. It is still good but don't head into line 6...'oh I thought everything would be better and it's not' one day and turn it against yourself.

Oh well lol. I guess the last few times I've moved apartments I didn't exactly come out the other end a drastically different person 🤷‍♀️ When you've been in a pit for so long it's hard to see a change coming and not hope it's the one thats finally going to get you out. At the same time, feeling like a failure when it doesn't isn't very constructive either. Thank you ☺️ I'll just appreciate it as it is.

No matter how much you try to be responsible and friendly and helpful (56.2) entering this strange new world, you’ll probably end up doing something stupid (56.6). Don’t worry about it, just stand firm and keep on keeping on (32).

I imagine 56.2.6--32 is to expose your situation as a new tenant and your situation of learning to live in this new environment, with its own legal rules of a condominium, but also all the other "non-legal rules", but potentially more conflictive that arise from the life dynamics of all the neighbors within that building.

...Perhaps the lesson of learning to live in this new space with the "qualities of a traveler" in itself is a good goal for this new era.
