What costume should I do for Halloween? 53.3.5.6>2

I asked the Yi," What costume should I do for Halloween?", and received 53.3.5.6>2

Trying to get a better idea, I asked twice: "What type of costume should I have this Halloween?", and received both 51 and 1.1.3.4.5.6>7

So ... Hex 53 ... slow moving, goose-like in it's versatility, sacredness ...

Hex 2 ... feminine, earthly, horses, receptivity ...

Hex 51 ... frightening, action, surprise, thunder ...

Hex 1 ... Heavenly, powerful, masculine, dragons ...

Hex 7 ... wisdom, strength, army, organization ...

...Sigh... I have no idea! Perhaps there are some people out there with a better understanding of inner trigrams, and those characteristics, who could help me?

53.6 → 39 (Obstacles), Richmond:
The wild goose gradually approaches the heights.
Its feathers are used in ritual. Good fortune.

51 Represents lightness, movement, quick, unstable.
I guess some flying creature - Phoenix, angel, griffon rider[1 speaks about dragons and heaven/sky, 7 - war, leader, army].

Mythical flying creature, strong and quick.

Wow, coincidentally, I had a dream with a gryphon in it last night, right after I posted about this! I think that's a great idea.

Last night, I was think some sort of angel, but the 51 factor would have to make it be a fallen angel, right?

The gryphon idea is really fantastic ... I could even make it be Simurgh or Garuda. Thanks Asheteroid!

I like Asheteroid's idea better but I just wanted to share with you that when I saw the 2nd hexagram was 2. The Receptive - which I usually equate with being silent, even invisible - I thought you should dress as something completely different from your usual persona. Let the inner you, the fierce power that no one knew was there come out!

I'm excited that you had a dream with the same idea! That's definitely the sign :)

51 doesn't mean something bad, it is just about rapid change, swift movement.
It consists of double trigram of thunder/electricity, that's why I went with wings [from 53] and something flying[51] high in the sky[1].

Interesting thought Rosada, 51 + 2 = something completely different.

Someone betrayed and left her.
After a long time she finds someone else.
Alas, it is too late...

** UPDATE **

So, this is how it all was resolved ...

Halloween of 2015 was absolutely awful for me.

I had made a costume, a griffin, it was glorious, sorry no pics, as I didn't get to wear it ...

My best friend came over, and while she and I were making dinner, just before we got ready to go out for the evening, my downstairs neighbor started screaming hysterically, and banging on my door to help her. I ran out, cell phone ready to dial out to Emergency services, and saw her boyfriend covered head to toe in blood, deep lacerations in his side, and his arm.

My bestie and I, thankfully, have medical training ... We spent the next hour helping him, then helping her, then smoking spliff after spliff to calm down.

So, as for what I think that my resulting hexagrams meant for me in retrospect:

53.3.5.6>2:

Reading through each line, and focusing on the central one, as per Master Yin's rules ... Legge's commentary on line 5 is "Line five is a dynamic line in the ruler's seat, and yet appears here as the symbol of a wife. Somehow she has been at variance with, and kept in disgrace by, calumniating enemies such as the plunderers of line three; but things come right in the end. The wife, childless for three years, becomes at last a mother, and there is good fortune. The wife will have a child; minister and ruler will meet happily.

I think that this accurately describes what happened to me during this situation. While my friend was busy constricting his arteries, I was busy shaking my neighbor out of her hysteria, and instructing my other neighbors to all stop gawking, and call the police ... Clearly, my rarely used crisis management skills were in play.

51:

Yep, many shocking moments for my neighbors, and myself ... And ooh boy, did it all happen quickly!

1.1.3.4.5.6.>7:

This particular reading goes through, line by line, exactly what happened, and how I reacted that night, and, according to master yin's rules, focusing on line 2, James DeKorne says : "A field is a wide and open place where movement is relatively unrestricted. The dynamic force here has room to move in any direction. To ensure that this energy moves in the proper direction, we are counseled to maintain a firm connection with "the great man" -- the best that is in us, our highest intuition or inner voice: the Self. The imagery of the line therefore suggests the expansion of awareness, or of coming into one's power. It does not necessarily counsel action."

I was certainly the dynamic force during this event. Calling 911, doing injury assessment, telling my friend to grab a towel and get her but down there to help me, calming the screaming neighbor, telling the drunk boyfriend that he wasn't gonna die, and giving law enforcement and EMTs all pertinent info ... I felt in my element at the time, and then very drained and cautious afterwards ...

My friend and I were totally The Army together.

All in all, these oracles were completely accurate.

Thank you very much for the update and kudos to you and your friend for handling the situation so well. It's a shame you didn't get to wear your costume but it was still a true Halloween moment all the same. Perhaps you really did play a role that night, just not one that was expected?
