Ichinglover,
You owe me no apology. I apologize if I came on like a lecturer, too. A little paranoia is not such a bad thing, either. and it is understandable...if people we counted on were not trustworthy, it is really hard to begin to draw boundaries and decipher. Better a little self-protective than to be indiscriminately trusting . And I applaud your ability to stand up for yourself.

I am a hopeless book recommender, forgive me, but for both you and anna, I suggest reading Women Who Run With The Wolves. The title is not truly representative of the book. It's a great book about learning to trust your instincts and become finely tuned...it is Jungian in style and uses stories and myths to portray deep nurturing messages and to help us recognize the signposts we often overlook...encourages the use of your own dreams...a great book for someone who, like Anna, doesnt know how exactly to proceed at important junctures when self-awareness has begun to be strong.

The same author also published some CDs called Warming The Stone Child: Myths and Stories about Abandonment and the Unmothered Child.
THis is a great, helpful, inspiring work to listen to!

While books and teachings are very useful , right now, I think, she need to exhale. to let go all "bad airs". Trying to assimilate more ( i include i ching here) , in this moment, would be, like trying to inhale while lungs are full, not only impossible but will lead only to anxiety.
