Hex 57 ---> Hex 53
moving line = Line 2

Looks like to me Marriage and good fortune.

Anyone see something diffferent?

Also i just want to make sure i have this right,
-x- is a solid line turning into a broken correct?

So when i get this and i find my hex I count this as a solid (yang) line an on my relatin hex as a broken (yin), am i correct?

thx...shao

Um, no... -x-, a broken line with x in the middle, is broken changing to solid. A solid line with a small circle in the centre is solid changing to broken.
So if you had -x-, the line would be broken in the first hexagram, solid in the second (relating) hexagram.

Does that mean it was 53 changing to 57?

(What method are you using to consult?)

Thx Hilary, yeah I been doin' it backwards then because I been counting 3 heads(-x-) as solid because i thought heads was positive an the solid with the circle as broken, so everything i been askin' is in reverse. Im using The Complete Iching as my method.

So yes now it means 57 changing to 53 w/ line 2 as the moving line...sorry about the confusion.

Thanx again Hilary.

Have always used x across a solid and o in the middle of broken lines. I notice the virtual version here is opposite of that. x or o makes no difference, other than to note it as changing to its opposite.
