Hello all,
I'm in a relationship, few months already, and after std tests have been having unprotected intercourse with gf and she is on the pill. From the beginning I have been uncomfortable about it - I have not done it unprotected for a long time, I prefer using a condom for peace of mind! However, I know that if I request we go back to condoms she will think something is amiss and might be stressful.

I asked: What is the risk of unprotected intercourse with gf? 37.3>42
...doesn't sound too disastrous but perhaps I should 'lay down the law' and be assertive with this?
Any insight with this is much appreciated, thanks.

I think that a straight forward way of defining hex 37 line 3 is "better safe than sorry". This is a line that advises that given a choice between being lax or being strict go for the latter. I hope that there is scope in this relationship to talk about this.

Just one thing here - if you have had unprotected sex for a while - what are you now worried about pregnancy or a disease. If it is the former, then I think this casting is about you enquiring - often this casting, in my experience, deals with asking the right question. Why are you worried about things if she is on the pill. Whilst there is a better safe than sorry mindset, it has a very haunting echo of why does this bother you - should I be asking myself why?
