This man is my next door neighbor who makes every effort to show he is interested in building a closeness with me. I like his attention but feel conflicted how far I want this relationship to go. For years I lived in isolation and believe #59 Dispersion, aka Reuniting, speaks to engaging again in relationships, to be part of the flow of life.

Although, I recently introduced him to a neighbor and have noticed he is interested in building a close relationship with her too. They have a lot in common. I feel jealous but realized if what I truly want is only a neighborly relationship, it does not matter. My jealous feelings make me think I want an exclusive relationship. These kinds of issues is why I have chosen to keep my defenses and boundaries up because how to deal with these issues is confusing to me.

The hexagram is moving to #23 Stripping away. Does this mean stripping away of the relationship or stripping away of old ideas that 'this is mine'?

#23 aka Split apart. To answer my question, this means I do not want us coming together as a committed friendship/companionship, etc. Being neighborly is good as long as we go our separate ways.
