I don't know if you are familiar with the tarot? It's my old time favorite divination tool... I am also working to incorporating divination into my practice. But that's a different storyGlad to hear this, dancingfox! Yes, it seems your journey is a steadier momentum, not slow but not too fast either, and you can feel that very much in your bones! I am intending the best in your right track, and your talents and gifts to flourish more!

Its just that 35 uc reminds me of the Wheel of Fortune. Like the Wheel in the tarot it signals great progress but adjustments have to be made in order to flourish. Count your blessings amidst constant change!
Hi RemO yes I do! Some of my friends are Tarot readers, too. Interestingly, we have discovered mutually how the insight from Tarot and I Ching always resonate. For sure you can discover fascinating intersection between them.
Amen to H35uc as Wheel of Fortune! Oh yes, I can imagine as well. Which reminds me right now of an old insight I have on the word fortune (which I also relate to the phrase "Good Fortune" in the Yijing text). In my native language Filipino, it's translated as kapalaran, and the root word is "palad", which literally means "palm of the hand". After all, our fortune is rally in our hands. And counting our blessings/gratitude itself is one of the many ways to create fortune!
Hi Hermit35uc
In my experience, to read an unchanging hexagram is very difficult, due to its apparently static nature. There is a second approach to getting to the same result, so to speak, in this case to hexagram 35uc. It may help clarify the idea of the unchanging hexagram. It is observing the last lines of the complementary hexagram.
My humble take on this is that you have to pull through the last part of hex 5, which is the complementary hexagram to hex 35.
(Wilhelm Hex5 line 6)
"One falls into the pit.
Three uninvited guests arrive.
Honor them, and in the end there will be good fortune."
It could mean, get it it together and honor the three guests, the full time job, the course and the planning of your practice. That way you will abandon this waiting and get to the hexagram 35.
Hi Rem
isn't it wonderful when all of the images and symbolism fall together like a beautiful puzzle?
