Hi Folks,
So from another thread you know I have very serious water problems at my house.
Now, I have water infiltrations at my flat (I live in two places).
When consulting the Yi on the first problem or other issues, I've been landing on 48 (the well) time and again, in a very uncharacteristic way.
I asked the Yi, given the infiltrations at the flat too - why am I having all these water problems. It replied 1.1.2.3 to 12.
Huh? Illogical, the energy of water is certainly not blocked - but of course, the situations block my creativity and are not good for my health. But that doesn't answer my question.
I don't believe in coincidences, and with this dominance of water in my life and in many of Yi's responses to me lately, I wanted help in seeing the big picture.
So I asked What is water's symbolism is my life? Yi answers 20 UC. Yeah, well, Yi, what do you think I am doing? I AM trying to contemplate and see the big picture, this isn't helpful!
What am I not seeing? 7.2.4 to 16 -- I'm not seeing the good side of life, the joy?? I can entertain that, tough to be lighthearted and singing under the circumstances, but that still doesn't shed light on my initial question which is why I'm having all these water problems.....
Sometimes, conversations with Yi seem to go in circles...
Does someone see insight from these replies that I am missing by a mile?

1 - line 1 something is submerged in a 'pond' somewhere forcing the water to overflow. So according to hex 12 something is blocking something - oh dear I'm not a plumber.
line 2 - you do need someone who does know something about plumbing and whatever is happening can be seen in the light of day.
line 3 - whatever it is is working overtime - day and night, night and day.

Because Hex 1 is Heaven is it something that's above you although I understand water is mainly below - maybe a showerhead.

Or the cistern in the toilet....

I've just responded on the other thread since I disagreed with advice you were given there.


I don't think you need to be thinking about symbolism, that would be a retreat into not engaging fully enough with the actual issue as 25.6 showed.

I think, from what I've gathered you need to mobilise yourself....aha you did get hexagram 7 here into finding causes, tackling things....not simply disengaging as you were advised on the other thread.

What you aren't seeing is that this needs your initiative and leadership, not just acceptance. It looks like you need to set something in motion, an investigation maybe (7.2) and then let it go forward to see what shows up (7.4)

Sorry that some of these points will have already been covered/explained because I've not time to read in detail at the moment. I answered over there because I just wanted to give another take on 25.6 as a matter of urgency. Obviously how that thread was seen will also affect your thinking in this one.

Oh boy, great answers re both threads, different approaches, different views - digestion required! Thank you Goddessliss & Trojan!
Just to be clear, in both situ, I know what the problem is, where it comes from and why.
For the house (much more severe), getting administrations to move and take responsibility is tough and time consuming. So, in terms of 25.6, I've done all I can do at this point and need to wait for the meeting with the expert, the mayor et. al at month's end. My homeowner's insurance won't cover this type of water damage and it would be stupid to spend a fortune to treat the symptoms if the causes have not been dealt with (town's responsibility). So not sure how to apply your interpretation of 25.6 on that Trojan at this time but I sure am ready for what would come next.
On the flat's water infiltration problem that finally made its way over to me, my neighbor and I raised such hell and (pardon the expression) kicked asses so hard yesterday they went flying into outspace. Insurance does cover the damages in this instance.This should be dealt with expediently (then the time it takes to dry etc.). I was in full out 7 mode
My questions this morning really were about the subtext, the symbolism etc. Having such similar problems in both homes at the same time (and first time ever), endless readings with water and 48 and so on, couldn't help but wondering what it was I supposed to "get" from it all. Perhaps there is nothing. But tough not to think there is...
