what to do about failed computer hard drive

My external hard drive where I store my back-up files for my computer projects has failed suddenly. I asked the I Ching how to handle the problem. The hexagram and changing lines were: hex 62, changing lines 2 and 3, new hexagram 40. Thanks for any insight. The cost to have a professional retrieve the files is pricey, so I am trying to decide if the money would be well spent.

I think you'll need assistance to get up and going again properly. Line 2 moving suggests that you won't be able to reach your first choice of helper but that someone else will be available. Line 3 moving is more serious and suggests that if you don't watch out, someone will hurt you. Maybe this means that your data is now vulnerable to hackers; I hope not.

The yang change pattern is 46, and the implication is that you won't solve this in one jump. The yin change pattern is 25, the Unexpected. This seems to be saying that whatever is wrong, it isn't what you think. For this reason, I think you need professional assistance.
