What will the blood test reveal about my thyroid levels? 41.2.6 -> 24

Hi,

I take meds for an underactive thyroid that I was diagnosed with last year. At the time I was having a lot of problems with my wrists/hands & legs/feet that went away as soon as I started taking the meds on a regular basis. Over the past couple of weeks those symptoms have started to return, so I had a blood test to check my thyroid levels, to see if my daily meds dosage needs increasing.

I asked the I Ching, 'What will the blood test reveal about my thyroid levels?' and the cast was 41.2.6 -> 24.

On 41's Wikiwing page it says, 'Line 2 changing with line 6 turns into 24. You are thinking of benefiting someone who already has more than enough. Curb your desire to be of service. If you jump right in, your level of frustration will increase, not decrease.'

Would I be right in thinking that IC is saying my thyroid levels are fine as they are, and that I have 'more than enough' dosage? Alternatively, I could see it saying that my thyroid hormone levels have decreased (41) and need to be 'reset to zero' (24).

My GP will hopefully be letting me know within a few days.

From what I know, often hypothyroidism is initially treated with lower doses, which might be adjusted as the body becomes used to the medication levels.
This is purely my interpretation, but I wonder if the pains are caused by something other than thyroid levels. To me, it suggests your thyroid levels are normal (41.2), and an alliance with your doctor will help you find the solution to your pains (41.6), and cure the pains you're having (24).

Thanks, mholden1969--something to think about. Still waiting to hear of the results from my doctor, as the results seem to be delayed somewhere in the system. Will hopefully hear tomorrow.

Blood test results have finally come back (after some delay), and my thyroid hormone levels have dropped, so my GP has upped my meds. So perhaps my second guess was what the casting was indicating.

Thank you so much for updating. Glad to know the mystery's solved.
In this case, 41.2.6 - 24 is stating that thyroid levels have reverted back to their too-low levels.
