Where will I spend the New Year's Eve?

Here's a funny one...

I asked where I'd spend the New Year's Eve, and this is the answer I got:

So, obviously among strangers... And apparently I'm to get horribly drunk (I don't see myself being arrogant among strangers otherwise) and lay low - aka stay in bed probably for the next 24 hours uch:

Line 6 is a mean one in 56. It speaks about "burning the nest" - the foundation - I might lose contact with the person I came with, or perhaps people might like me in the beginning but as the night goes on I might, if I allow my composure to dwindle, lose that.

Arrogance, to me, is suggested by "losing the cow" - a symbol of docility, as suggested by certain translators. Maybe it suggests I'll lose something material? I don't think so, though.

"The wanderer first laughs and later weeps and wails" - I hope this won't be true, though
