Sooooo one thing I am very interested in the last few years is finance, travel hacking, and what is called churning (signing up for credit cards for their bonus offers and stuff). Banks have tightened their approvals a lot recently with the pandemic and resulting economic uncertainty.
In general it's good to apply for business cards, they don't show on your credit report. I do have a legitimate business to apply for cards with, tho many people successfully apply with "businesses" (ie, sold something on eBay once etc).
One bank that has good offers you can only apply for a few cards in last 2 years. The business ones don't count but you still have to be under the number to get them. There are good deals with other banks but I haven't been able to take advantage because of the limitation with this preferred bank.
I only have one slot remaining before I cannot apply for any other card with them. I was rejected recently for a business card since they tightened requirements. I have been able to address one concern however by getting my business on a national business credit report listing. However, it took so long I would have to apply again anyway, the old application is no longer valid.

I asked Yi, should I apply for a X bank credit card today. Got 16 unchanging, wow, ok then! Looks good, can't get much more of a go ahead than that! I wasn't sure bc part of me has been saying be patient, but other part is saying, take advantage now, the economy isn't set yet, it will get harder to get approved before easier.

I asked if I should apply for personal cards today/tomorrow, got 13.5 to 30. So this really feels like my situation will change for the better. It seems after the struggle of not being approved I might have success, something can be worked out?

I then asked if I should apply for the business card instead (which will allow me to live another day to try for personal cards again in future). I got 49.6 to 13. Interesting, 13 again. So I feel like this relates to the work I did to get my business on an official listing which they wanted- is this really a big transformation that is needed for success, or is it just a mask? I'm just not quite sure.

Any thoughts?

Why are you preferring to read the I Ching,
as opposed to reading the terms and conditions on the card agreement?

Hi, my question has to do with getting approved for the card at all. It doesn't have to do with the card terms/conditions.

It takes roughly the same amount of time to submit an online application as it does to cast and interpret a reading.

Just go for the 16 and move forward,
what else are you wanting??

Because I am trying to limit the amount of hard pulls on my credit report. And also the question of applying for a business card again (which will allow me to still be able to apply for personal cards in future), or the personal card, which from this reading sounds like more success, but then I can't apply for business card nor any personal card from this bank for at least 2 years from now.
