I have recently been asking so many questions that I am just waiting for the Yi to eventually tell me to b****r off. I am at a dead end and not sure which road to take, whether I should get back with my ex partner (threads suggest not), whether I should take a job in Lincoln and move 3 hours drive up north (16.1.2 to 54 and on separate occasion Hex 11.5.6 (hate line 6) to 9), whether I should stay in London (hex 35.1.5 to 25 and then Hex 3 unchanging). I cannot see a clear way ahead of me or perhaps there is a way I have not discovered yet and am narrowing my options down too much? So today I have asked a general question "which direction I should take?" and got Hex 38.2.3.5 to 13

Can anyone shed some light on this for me please? Many thanks!

Hello Veronica

In all honesty, I do not yet see an obvious answer to your question, but I did see something that struck me in the commentary very strongly. Line three commentary says, "often it seems to a person that everything is conspiring against him." In the movie "The Empire Strikes Back," Luke asks Yoda how he will know the dark side from the light, and Yoda's answer was, "you will know, when your mind is calm, at rest, relaxed." One thing that might seem a little too metaphysical for some readers may be the concept that "The universe is not against us. As long as we rail against, and decry our fate, it only gives us more of the same, not out of anger, but that is simply the way natural law works. When we calm down, when we accept what we are given, when we quit seeing everything as a struggle, rather than a steopping stone, then natural law once again does not give us a struggle, but shows us the way. Everything, and I mean everything in our lives is there for a reason, and a positive one at that. It just doesn't seem that way. When we resist, we get resistance. Just let the answer flow.

Let go and let Tao.

Option one of going back to your partner has been discussed and the majority found it and unsavoury idea,

So, that should leave two options, Lincoln or London. BTW, do you live south or north of the Thames? Because Hex 13 is about living in a place just like London but moving to another part, across the river.

Estrangement to Be Bitten Through and Easily Solved

I have recently been asking so many questions that I am just waiting for the Yi to eventually tell me to b****r off. I am at a dead end and not sure which road to take, whether I should get back with my ex partner (threads suggest not), whether I should take a job in Lincoln and move 3 hours drive up north (16.1.2 to 54 and on separate occasion Hex 11.5.6 (hate line 6) to 9), whether I should stay in London (hex 35.1.5 to 25 and then Hex 3 unchanging). Don't forget that you asked recently about getting back with your ex, and got 11.4-->34, which you yourself said was an unusually positive reading. Peace and the Wings of a Bird.

In this case, you asked about direction, and the direction Yi suggests is to work through estrangement and misunderstanding (H38) towards Fellowship (H13). It has to do with the opposition between you and your ex.

Line 2 suggests a meeting in an unusual venue, somewhere where you and the ex will not be at odds, Line 3 suggests that it will hurt but will end well, and Line 5 says that you and members of your clan will "bite through tender meat." This suggests that you and your ex do not have intractable problems, and they can be solved easily once there is agreement to bite through them.

Combined with the 11.4-->34 reading, Yi is saying that the direction to go is to try to work through the obstructions. The result is H13, Fellowship with People. Seems like it is worth a try.

You may not want to do it, but the reading implies that resolving estrangement is the direction to go.

i think this situation might be resolved through some kind of meeting with a friend or aquaintance who helps you see more clearly (38.2.5) and i also think it strongly suggests this conflict within you is going to be solved by not keeping it to yourself, but by sharing and considering where you have the most contacts, any kind of contacts (13) this is very important factor in where you decide to live. I'm not talking bosom buddies, I'm just meaning people you have made some kind of connection with in the community where you have been living. i wouldn't under estimate the importance of these in how happy or at ease you feel in a place even if they seem right now insufficient reason to stay.

I feel if this was about your ex you wouldn't have got 13 which is about the wider social network one lives in, where one finds all kinds of support, often the kind of support that is under valued in this society which treats intimate man/woman relationships as the only valid kind of support there is sometimes...in your case from what I've read nothing is further from the truth..hasn't your ex virtually stalked/harrassed you and made you feel altogether powerless ? You shouldn't go back to him just because right now you feel you have no choice IMO. Look about where you have been living, whats good about it, who have you met that knows you to some extent ? I think how you fit into the wider community is the factor that may decide your answer...

Having said that its up to you to decide if you feel it refers to your ex or not but really in this day and age you shouldn't really feel like you have no option. I thought that kind of thing went out with the last generation
