Hello everyone,

I have not posted anything for so long I don’t even know who is still around!

I would be most grateful for your insight in this as I seem to have encountered what feels like a bit of a dead end with a project I greatly care about.

I have been looking for bigger premises for my business for over a year now and after many upheavals I have found a property I love. I’m based in the uk and if anyone on here lives in the uk they might know what a nightmare it is to deal with local councils to obtain a planning permission to do anything. Well the council is not liking my idea of running a business at the property and keeps throwing all sorts of policies in my face. Cutting a long story short 2 architects and their planning consultants have been recommended and I am really not sure which ones to go with as they both have a very different approach. I have asked The Yi to help me with making the choice and I got 40.4 to 7 (for Dan and Andrew) and 7.2 to 2 (for Neil and Nathan). Which team would you go with please? 😬🫣🙏

Btw I also asked whether I should walk away from the property as I got quite depressed about it and received 45.1.4 to 3, which I take as a no?

I would be most grateful for your input! 🙏🙏❤️

Hi Veronica,
Could you maybe specify what you expect from an architect? What requirements must an architect meet?
Should they involve you in the process or not, do you want a say, etc.
By giving a global idea of what your wishes/conditions are regarding an architect, I think it becomes easier to interpret the answers.

Hello Hans,

Many thanks for your input. I would like them to use their expertise to get a planning permission to perform business in the new premises. Happy to get involved if they want me to but I don’t know how the local planning authorities work. They should have the experience to know what to do to get things done. I guess my question was more: which team is more likely to obtain the planning permission. I hope this makes sense. Many thanks!

Let's start with the last question, because there is no reason to choose when the answer to the last question would be to disregard the property.

H45 is the hexagram of gathering, of complementing a multiplicity into a whole. What is missing must be completed. This is not without a struggle because the text of the Image says: "Thus the superior person repairs his weapons In order to meet the unexpected."
I think this does describe the situation as you put it. It takes quite an effort to get everybody on the same page.
Earth to Thunder through the moving line at the 1st position is about unwinding old issues so that a new beginning can be made. Do not be guided by the emotions of current circumstances but choose a new beginning and go for it, do not let old issues affect the start of something new.
Lake changes to Water through the moving line at the 4th position: go-with-the-flow, don't take the lead in the processes but let them develop and adjust where necessary. Taking the lead would only irritate the people you are dealing with, delaying the results you expect from them. Be tactical in how you achieve your desired result, you know the expression "You catch more flies with honey than vinegar" 😄 .
H3 speaks for itself I think. All beginnings are difficult they say, but you can facilitate this by providing structure, the text of the Image of H3 says: "Thus the superior person regulates and brings order".
Btw I also asked whether I should walk away from the property
Based on the above, I would say no, go for it.

As for choosing architects, based on your requirements, I would choose team Neil and Nathan. H7.2 <> H2.
The text of the 2nd line says:" In the middle of the army. Good fortune. No blame. Three times the king bestows a decoration." As I see it, this describes a leader, a senior officer, present in the midst of his troops, someone who knows exactly what is going on and can intervene or encourage immediately. He leads his troops so well that he gets recognition for it. Related H2 is about support, nurturing and a balance of give and take, it is being open to. In my opinion, this is the description and qualities of architects you want for a project.

The other team has H40 which is about deliverance. This is where tension must be released in order to get organised (H7). What does not speak in their favour for me is trigram Thunder with a moving line. This is about irrational and hasty actions where the consequences are not considered.

This would be my interpretation. As always, take what resonates and leave the rest 😉

Hi,

I have asked The Yi to help me with making the choice and I got 40.4 to 7 (for Dan and Andrew) and 7.2 to 2 (for Neil and Nathan).
40.2 says release the thumb, partners arrive. Some authors read it as getting rid of a useless connection.
7.2 is about authority, a mandate and good fortune.

I'd say the second is more promising.
