Hello. There's another reading I'd appreciate your valuable insights on. Thank you. :bows:
According to family constellation there's a missing male member in my family system that I'm probably destined to represent. I wonder who that person is. I was searching in my family who could come into consideration. I found out there were a few miscarriages and a boy (from twins) who drowned when he was 8.

I asked Yi: Who is the missing male in my family system?
I received: 3 unchanging

LiSe writes "The character Zhun can also be used for 'spring', vitality, sensuality, youth. The trigrams are Thunder - the voice and the vital force of the dragon - under Water."
Also, the upper trigram is Kan, the second son and the lower trigram is Zhen, the eldest son. (They were twins but I'm not sure if the one who drowned was the eldest or not.)

In Huang's book I can read (don't know how this gua are related though):
Inverse Gua: Childhood
Mutual Gua: Falling Away

This all reminds me of the 8-year boy but Zhun also represents life that's about being created, something that's sprouting so maybe it's someone who was miscarriaged... fetus is surrounded by amniotic fluid - water.
Any idea? Who do you see hexagram 3 to represent? Thank you so much.

both hypothesis sound plausible. Can't tell for sure . The miscarriage fits to the giving birth theme of 3 and the trigrams the 8yo boy... Maybe you need to draw down your family tree and seek for patterns that might pass down from generation to generation.

If you don't mind comment on that : "destined to represent'; it adds a huge burden... not completely see that way yet there is something that feels like destiny and that involves the roles we have assigned or "choose". Studing ones family tree might help to recognize those patterns and roles , make sense of feelings, attitudes thoughts and sometimes free your self from issues are not yours. This could be also h3, if the answer is about you.

The family tree study is also a very h3 approach and observing others present it and discuss it , feels like a birth for them. They 'make order out of chaos' in some respects. H3 can be seen also like the tangled relationships between the members of a family system. The presence or absence of their members affect the dynamics of this system, and in some contexts like the one of your reading, h3 resembles the process of individuation. So, imho, not only who this person is , is important but its affect to the system.

just a thought. Maybe hex 19 is more appropriate for miscarriage

Thank you, anemos.

Maybe destined is a strong word but there's obviously male "energy" in the system which affects me.
I suffered from body dysphoria when I was a child and even though the discomfort's decreased over time and is close to zero now I still find it difficult to identify with my biological sex. Moreover, I'm gay.

According to Bert Hellinger there are three observed patterns in relationship to homosexuality. One of them is situation when one has to represent the opposite sex figure from their former family and because there is no opposite sex person in the family, one has to stand in for that opposite sex figure and as a result becomes homosexual. I don't know if its actually the cause for how I feel about women and about myself but the truth is there appeared an unknown male during my constellation session.
