Why is it so easy? 26.6, 11

I try to avoid phrasing questions negatively but sometimes that does require twisting one’s head a bit. Anyway today I was feeling frustrated that something I was reading about the hexagrams made no sense to me plus the awareness of how much information is out there in books and languages I’ll never read. Totally depressing. So my first impulse was to ask the I Ching, “Why is it so hard for me to learn the I Ching?” but realizing this would only focus on the problem (like what if I got 25.6? Not helpful!), I instead asked, “Why is it so easy for me to learn the I Ching?”
I received 26.6, 11. Heaven’s highway and Peace/Going with the flow.
I think this may be recommending our study together here at onlineclarity both the courses Hilary offers and the group sharing.

If anyone has anything to add I am interested. Easy is a good thing!

Sure this is encouraging. Great wisdom, great knowledge, all tamed and held together. Only that in the 6th place you can't really control and dominate it! Wisdom becomes experience. It is a knowledge which somehow surpasses the conventional sort of "knowledge", and also it comes through your own life and experience. So that it will be best to go with the flow, just to take one reading after another.

It's so easy for you when it is easy because it is the right time for you to advance. You store up information, gathering knowledge, improving and preparing yourself (26) and then when the time is right in a context of harmonious interaction (11) you grasp what has been eluding you. Remember that behind 26 is 54 and this is guiding you through the period of courtship before the marriage.

In Hex 26 the superior person acquires not only knowledge but has to marry this with 'words and deeds of the past' before they can establish their next step forward . It's only by all that you have done before that that you are able to easily recognise the Dao of Heaven (26.6).

....or it may be nothing like this at all for you.
