Currently I'm living with my roomates but I've been contemplating the possibility of moving out so I asked I-ching the chances of living on my own this year.
Got 10.2 > 25

Treading a smooth, level course.
The perseverance of a dark man
Brings good fortune.

The situation of a lonely sage is indicated here. He remains withdrawn from the bustle of life, seeks nothing, asks nothing of anyone, and travels through life unassailed, on a level road. Since he is content and does not challenge fate, he remains free of entanglements.


It seems it'll be a relatively easy process without any hurdles and headaches and indeed I'm no longer gonna share an apartment with anyone considering the "lonely sage" and "remaining free of entanglements".

It's indeed very obvious. In january this year I asked the same question and got 33, which is retreat. I believe the I-ching is being clear enough here and there's no need to inquire the same thing once again.

Update: I did find somewhere else at least to sleep at night just yesterday December 24. LOL the Yi proved to be accurate once again.

Like how would you say 10.2 manifested? “Treading a smooth level course, the perseverance of a dark man brings good fortune.” I’m guessing ”smooth level course” means you didn’t make a big deal about your decision to move but just kept quietly keeping your eyes open for an opportunity. Do you see a meaning to “dark man”? I’m thinking maybe it meant you didn’t tell anyone when you were looking - like you kept folks “in the dark”.

I spent Christmas Eve in my sister's house and slept there and then the idea of staying there popped into my mind. I asked her if she was OK with me sleeping over at her house everyday and she said: "for sure!".
The dark man here I believe means to be discrete. I didn't make any big deal about this move - in fact, it doesn't even seem like a proper move, but it is.

Also, I would like to add one more thing: when I made the decision to stay there, I was lying on the bed in the dark at night, right before sleeping.
