I've applied and been interviewed for an industry placement position, which is a highly regarded program through my university and paid position for a year within the design industry. I come out at the end of the year with real world experience, great portfolio work, contacts and money to pay the rent.

I've been working towards this for some time. And there are a few more steps to go through before I get a position, although I will know if I am through the preliminary round on November.

I asked the I ching:will I be offered a final placement?

14.2.3.4.6 to 24

Using Huang's method for multiple changing lines, the changing line is 5.

Six in the fifth place means:
He whose truth is accessible, yet dignified,
Has good fortune.

The situation is very favorable. People are being won not by coercion but by
unaffected sincerity, so that they are attached to us in sincerity and truth.
However, benevolence alone is not sufficient at the time of POSSESSION IN
GREAT MEASURE. For insolence might begin to spread. Insolence must be
kept in bounds by dignity; then good fortune is assured.

I believe there is good reason I could be successful: provided I continue to handle the situation sincerely and with dignity.

However, I am suffering under some money strains. It would be great for me to get some sort of casual work while I'm going through the placement process. I wasn't sure how I would manage to find work though, as I will potentially need flexibility when the time comes for more interviews and Christmas is coming up when I have flights booked back to see my family.

I asked: Should I try to get a casual job now? 25.

I believe that is a clear no.

What do you think? Thanks for your help

Hi deepstillwater,

I have looked into all your lines (never used any other method:) ) and I agree that there is a real chance that you will get the placement. You seem to meet the requirements. Just to point out a couple of things from your reading: don't be greedy and try not to push the issue too hard. I would not seek any casual work either, I think it is a time to remain true to what you really want, which the placement in this industry.

All the best:bows:

I did not seek any casual work, and that did make it much easier to be available for potential employers.

I got offered a placement today with an amazing studio, my ideal employer. I was offered the job straight after my interview!! Great success
