Hi all

I went on a date yesterday and I really like this person

They have a busy day today and we drank so they’re probably feeling rubbish on top of being busy

But I haven’t had a text all day since our date yesterday

I get the feeling this is speaking to how immobilised and out of my hands this situation is in terms of waiting for a reply to see that all went well and this person still wants to date me.
But with the seeing a froth of light and no mistake - I’m guessing this position won’t last long and I’ll soon have a message?
Or could it just refer to the fact that clarity will come eventually on whether it is a ghosting or not as I wait without actually the reading telling me if I’ll hear back

I think you will hear from your friend, but the “broken right arm” in line 3 makes me wonder is it possible he may have lost your number or that there could be some other glitch causing a delay?

I started to treat this as a loss as it was feeling like a ghosting, so it’s secretly delightful to read your version here

I haven’t heard anything yet but if her phone is lost or there’s just some innocent problem going on and I do hear back I will update!

At this point in time I’m feeling like the reading means a no and the No mistake parts etc of this are saying so because no contact is a good thing ultimately - but that might just be my pessimism whilst having a broken right arm!
