Hi all (yes, this is a politics free posting).

yesterday evening a lady driving a ford sierra pulled out without looking, right in front of my wife driving our volvo 940. No one was hurt, but the volvo suffered broken light, grill, bent bumper and panels etc but is driveable - the sierra was a lot worse (immovable). Anyway, last night i dreamt i'd taken the car to the garage to get it fixed - and the bloke at the garage told me that the number 25 was important.

well of course this morning i just had to open my Karcher and what do I see at hex 25 - "disentanglement" and "blunder"

surrealist.org gives me "reckless action"

LiSe has "disaster through shortsightedness"

and Wilhelm gives "The unexpected"

I guess Yi does have a sense of humour, it made me chuckle anyway.

Eeeepps! I never saw 25 like that. I always see it as the hexagram of innocence. On the other hand it is also unexpected -- but then anything can be unexpected -- good or bad. Binz you've given me new perspective. Which reminds me of hex 18 I drew recently when I asked about my boyfriend and he told me he'd been very ill. One meaning of 18 is literally illness and another is work on that which ahs been spoiled. With te Yi I'm always learning.

Best for your Quest

Amongst umpteen other things, 25 is dealing with misfortune by saying 'not my fault, I don't own this, so it can go away now'. (Not everything calls for #18!) Yi, and the universe at large, definitely has a sense of humour.

Best wishes to your noble, battered Volvo.

Hey, this is completely irrelevant but that happened to me this week - man pulled out of side road, smashed my door in - infact same damage as your wifes car really. It was a strange incident as I couldn't see how he'd made such an error - traffic moving really slowly, me right there in front of him. I was quite shaken up and the first thing I said to him was "WHY did you do that ?" He looked a picture of innocence and simply said "I don't know". As I left he said "I'm sorry it happened, but there you are" - as if to say, 'its just one of those things that happen - I have no explanation for it'. Very much an innocent 25ish sort of response perhaps.
It does throw a new light on 25 though doesn't it.
That is acting 'spontaneously, naturally' can have negative results - from his own admission he just drove 'spontaneously' into my car ? (well i didn't throw 25, but it seems to resonate with the situation) I guess the man acted innocently with no ill intention, just thoughtlessly, in a sense naturally.

My condolences for Binz?s and Louise?s damages and a speedy repair.

Fascinating example/application of 25.
