Just think about it this way..
you buy an icecream drumstick from the store.. you open your drum stick, lo and behold the best part of your icecream is not there, the nuts... WTH?! lol that happened to me 2 weeks ago that's why I bring this up..
Anyways I was surprised because it wasn't what I expected, and it just wasn't the same without the nuts lol.

doesn't matter how big or small the shock is, if it's something that surprises you or changes your thinking or image of it then that's the big thunder and lightning part of this hex

For me 51 means doing what is right through facing fear. It is obvious there will be shocks. How you make use of them can change the situation greatly. They are highly charged, being thunder and all, so choice of direction and intention is key. There is something that the energy of the shock and fear possesses that must be gotten through, overcome, used or realized and then you do what is right. I had a dream and asked what it meant and received 51. The dream consisted of me murdering someone with a sword, walking around fearfully, then stumbling across a man in the woods who said very little verbally except that I must face the man I murdered's star apprentice and tell him what I have done.

I didnt see the ex part.. but yes i think there will be some sort of shock for you in the future.

And I have been using the Iching for 2 years now, I find it very accurate, amazingly.
I use 2 or 3 different translations at a time and use an online version, the one on this site is very good and also at facade.com/iching
I used to study a bit of tarot cards, and palm line reading but always found it quite hard to grasp, but Iching works very well for me.
