For anyone browsing in the future, a few examples I’ve had of 55.5
Once, it meant getting a PlayStation was a great idea and the amount of good that came into our lives from owning one and playing it over the subsequent years was profound and awesome
Another time our car stopped running and the soonest we could get anyone to look at it wouldn’t be for 2 more weeks. I asked the I Ching what was going to happen and got this line. A few days later, of his own volition, my boyfriend who had no knowledge on cars figured out it could be the battery and walked to the nearest place that sells car batteries, then walked back carrying it and installed it himself and the car was running perfectly. I was truly amazed by the turn of events and his ingenuity and ability to follow his intuition.
Most recently on a smaller scale, I wanted something salty to eat but it was late and most places around here were closed. We literally had nothing in the kitchen like what I wanted since my boyfriend and I don’t actually shop much, so off the top of my head I knew what we already had and that ain’t it.
I asked the I Ching though, is there anything we have that can help with the salt craving? Got this line, so I went downstairs and looked through the cabinets and pantry there was of course nothing. My boyfriend sees me and says, what’s wrong? I tell him I want something salty to eat, and he pulls out two packages of salty rice crackers I love that he got at the store earlier that day and forgot about.
My thoughts on this line, you will get what you wanted and it will be good. Also, that it is the kind of good fortune that echos and echos, as in it’s often the gift that keeps on giving in some way, if only at the very least being a beautiful memory, but in my experience it’s usually much more than that.
