Enquiring about Feelings from a person whom was previously separated from me

Hi there, This is my first post with regards to anything related to the I Ching. Please pardon me for the rather long post. The background story for the question is that this particular person had a relationship with me for about 6 months, before we separated due to faults on my part. It was not a happy break up, and both of us had mixed emotions about it. She was extremely angry with me for my faults, while I was devastated with the way things turned out as she mattered a lot to me. We did not speak nor communicate for 3 months, before we bumped into each other by chance and connected again. She spent the next 3 months texting me, albeit with extremely angry messages that accused me of a myriad of things. However, we have since resolved that and have moved into an extremely comfortable state with each other. We are not together at this moment, but I have expressed my resolve multiple times for us to continue our relationship. She, on the other hand, does not want to have a relationship with me now as she believes that both of us are focused on our careers, and she is afraid of being hurt by overwhelming feelings that she might have while in a relationship (as has happened previously). Both of us are in a long-distance non-relationship at this moment but we are in a state where we speak to each other everyday, but do not refer to our relationship or question what it truly means. Her mannerisms rotate between a state of hot-cold-hot-cold, and there are instances when I question our relationship, or lack of it, despite our constant communication. On multiple occasions, I have asked the I Ching about this situation. This particular reading is to address the question of her true feelings for me. And I received the Hexagram 9.2.3, changing into the Hexagram 42. When I ask whether she has to plans to marry me eventually (we have talked about it on many instances), I received the Hexagram 12.1.4, changing into the Hexagram 42. To clarify what it means by the Hexagram 42, I received Hexagram 18. Could someone decipher what all these means? I can see a constant here, but it would be nice to truly understand these patterns and what each answer holds. Once again, I apologise for the lengthy post.
