Hallo Yi Jing friends,
starting last year my heart showed signs of arrhythmia and an ECG confirmed it. The cardiologist hurried me to get a pace-maker, but I wanted to check if my heart would go back to balance with other means. After two months of a natural diet (no gluten, no sugar, no dairy products Taliban-like) the cardiologist could not believe that all the symptoms were gone! Now the symptoms are back. Yes, my diet is not so rigorous anymore...

I asked the Yi:
- How is my heart doing? 33.3 >12
- What should I do to heal the condition of my heart? 42 unchanging
- How goin on with natural remedies would effect the condition of my heart? 55.6 >30

I'm too tense to absorb with clarity the meaning of these answers. It's an important matter to me; I would love avoiding undergoing surgery (though a non-invasive one) and feeling that my body has been rigged, so please, can you help me shed some light on how to become whole again?

Lots of love.

Hi Emiliana,

My heart goes out to you, and I think the choices you make can affect your situation greatly.

Of course, I feel that you should strongly consider the advice of your doctor ~ if you decide to go for the non-invasive surgery, then modern pacemakers can extend the length and quality of your life, giving you better sleeping, eating and exercise each and every day.

So, if you don't mind, I'll interpret your tosses from an energetics point of view ~ see if this makes sense to you? Ideally, for optimum health, you want your life-force energy, chi, to circulate freely without losses throughout your body and your mind.

33.3 to 12 ~ Your chi is depleting towards obstruction.
42uc ~ Plug leaks to increase your chi.
55.6 to 30 ~ If you stick to a natural diet ~ religiously ~ then it could add three years to your life.

The way I read it, the diet will help your body, but you could use something, in addition, to help you with the anxiety in your mind, too? In the Chinese understanding, the heart and mind are intimately connected as one (xin), meaning that each can bind the other to the detriment of both. Or, in other words, anxiety unchecked can undo the diet and cost you its benefits.

If you aren't doing it already, then I highly recommend searching for a meditation meetup group in your town. Regularly making contact with the deep calm inside you is very stabilizing ~ you can actually learn to release anxiety in such a way that it can no longer bind you into habitual energy leaks ~ it might make a strong pairing with the diet.

I hope this helps ~ All Best!

Hi radiofreewill,
thank you so much for taking the time to read and answer my post.
Yes, I have to consider the bodymind and understand its needs. I wonder, of course, if I should agree on the pacemaker and just do it...
Thanks again! :bows:
