Help me choose my company's life path

I'm in the process of making many changes in my life, and I also must register a company. I don't know how it's called in the UK or US, but it's a one-person company, i.e. I'll be doing things for people and giving them invoices. So it's a very small business - nothing big, yet.

I'd like it to be successful though. I want to use my talents, knowledge and experience to inspire people to live up to their potential. I hope to make a change in my clients' lives and in the world.

So now I'm wondering when I should register it. It must be soon but I want to choose the date well, so that it'd make sense from numerological point of view. I asked I Ching about three possible life paths that I think should go well with what I want to do. Which one should I choose?

1.) What effect life path 2 will have on my company? 49 unchanging
2.) What effect life path 3 will have on my company? 55.4 to 36
3.) What effect life path 6 will have on my company? 11.1 to 46

If I had this, I think I would go for the last one. 6. It sounds the most fitting for what you want. From Wilhelm:

Thanks, 6 sounds good, but I still wonder what the other two mean, esp. the 49 unchanging.

49 is revolution. A radical change that requires some thought before and after the change to ensure the direction is right. Not sure how it relates to your question. Maybe it means if you chose that path then you would change your mind to a different path later.

Cast off what is obsolete or wrong, or not right for the coming times. Take away a skin or other outside that hinders life. Not all skins can grow, the one's who cannot have to be renewed when the time has come.
It has to be done at the right time, when the old is on the point of breaking, and the new has the possibility to grow. Like the snake sheds his skin at the exact right moment. Sì-day is the day of the snake, the best possible day for skinning.

I would consider also path #2 . Don't know what that means - if its a date as you said its important or something else . Nevertheless, 49 talks about the right timing for a "revolution" to succeed and from your words seem you plan a revolution

Dear Sylwia,

I don't see a right or wrong sort of answer in your reading. Sorry. It all depends on what you really want and are prepared to deal with.

Much more of a radical change, probably faster, with you having to leave the old behind (ideas? ways of doing things?) with an element of unpredictability.

2.) What effect life path 3 will have on my company? 55.4 to 36

Here you meet a "hidden lord", which is something that you fear, it appears as threatening but in fact it is some sort of "messenger of the truth". It is going to reveal, to unveil, to bring into light something that you might fear, but it will prove to be not harmful in the end.

3.) What effect life path 6 will have on my company? 11.1 to 46
Lots of connections here, people and things link to each other, having a far-reaching effect. Not a fast track, in my opinion, but more a long term effect. It is like when you just pull one thread but then there will be more and more. I would see this one as a completely different process from your 1st option (49).

Anyway, as I said, the Yi seems to be showing different possibilities, but not that one is better than the other. Hope that helps a bit. :bows:

Thank you all for your answers. To shed some light on the life paths and my situation...

I've been living through a very large change in my life for some years now. At some point I lost a very lucrative job (or rather two lucrative jobs and a company I co-owned with two partners), then nearly all my savings, then I separated from my partner (after 15 years), and it's still not certain where I'm going to live.

On the other hand, once I lost everything (and as I said it was a very long process, because I was still clinging to the old instead of letting it go sooner) I started to change. First, I changed myself, I started to practice meditation, learn about the law of attraction, non-dualism, study I Ching and I recalled my interest in numerology and astrology. Also, I lost weight. I got fat at some point because I was very depressed, then I changed it. I began to eat healthy, walk regularly, attend dance classes etc. etc. Also, I was so depressed that for several years I would not see any of my friends, now I'm reconnecting with those of them who are good for me.

It may sound dramatic, but it's all in the past now. What I want to do is to open my own business. The problem is that I'm still not sure what I'm going to do. I know what I definitely don't want to do. I don't want to return to my old corporate life.

For a year or so I've been working on an internet project, but it didn't kick off. I think it may be because it's not what I'm meant to do.

In numerology I'm an 11, which means that I should teach people, and it's something I love to do. But I'm not sure yet what I'm going to teach and how I'm going to do it. I have a vast knowledge in several domains, because I'm a kind of learning freak, but I'm not sure yet what it'll be. I can teach people how to run their websites, or make numerological profiles for them and show them how to change their lives, or I can teach them a better attitude to life, self-confidence etc. Those are just some examples.

In a way I'd like to make a revolution, I'd like to help people create a better world for themselves and their environment. Even the internet project was about a more democratized web environment for small business, so that small companies and big corporations would have equal chances in the internet.

So on July 7th, 2013 I thought that maybe I should start a company and not limit myself to one thing but try to use all of the things I know and see how it plays out. Maybe I'll better see what the people need this way. On that day I posted on Facebook and various friends of mine encouraged me to go for it. So in a way it may be a symbolic starting date of my company, and that gives the 2 life path.

2 life path, in general, is good for being a consultant, and it's the closest to my personal 11 life path which is a master number that can be shortened to 2.

11 means Illumination. An 11 should show others their way to Enlightenment. 2s are all about relation and cooperation, good diplomats and partners.

The other life paths I considered are 3 and 6.

3 is about expression and joy of living. 3s have something to communicate and are very creative. And in my numerological profile my Soul Urge is 3, which means that I'm motivated solely by creative projects or things I can communicate to others. No boring job will hold my interest for a long time, even if it's a very well paid one. So I thought that perhaps choosing a 3 for a life path would be a good thing, but then I've found a name with 3 as the Expression number in the company's profile, so I started to look for other life paths, because it's not good to repeat energy.

In the light of the I Ching answer I think that the "hidden lord" may refer to that, because a repeated energy is hidden or dispersed. A repeated energy cannot manifest properly without some effort. Maybe it means it will manifest anyway.

And then there's 6. 6 is all about love, help, balance, family and local community. So the I Ching reading is spot on. And like 3, it's quite creative. 6 is also my Karmic Debt as well as my Maturity number. Which means I have never ever had the 6 energy mastered in my previous incarnations, and I should do it now around my middle age (I'm 40).

As to timing... It's the Chinese year of Snake now, and it's my numerological 6th year.

Thank you all. It seems I'll have to decide on life path 6, not only because it was the most popular with you, but also because I'll be able to start my company tomorrow, and with the other two I'd have to wait a week longer.

So now I'm looking for a name, and I have two slightly different ones I asked I Ching about. And here's what I got:

Name 1: 11.2 to 36
Name 2: 16.2 to 40

Any suggestions?

Name 3: 7.2.4 to 16
Name 4: 29 unchanging

I'll be very grateful for any suggestions. I must decide on something in a matter of hours.

Just to let you know: I went with Name #1. I thought it was a kind of blend of the divinations for 6 and 3 life paths. I hope the company will turn out fine. If you have any more insight on the topic I'll be happy to read about it.
