I have gotten hexagram 23 many times lately. I asked what is collapsing? I received hex 7 unchanging.
I also got many responses with 19 in them, so I asked "What is approaching?" I received hex 7 unchanging.
What am I supposed to be doing? 18.6 > 46.

An expression that gets passed around among theater techs: "It may be your baby, but it's just another show to me" keeps the situation in perspective. Usually...
I see 7 as a campaign of some kind, having the attitude of campaigne to something even romance. Suprising how often it comes up in unrequited love questions.
Someone somewhere also relates it to grief
I feel it can also relate to goals of large organisations , governments depts etc
and instead raise your view of your service toward heaven?

We obviously cannot stop entirely doing practical things. Buttons must be sewn, books must be balanced, and so forth. But no matter how beautiful the buttons or how perfect the bookkeeping, these are all trivialities compared to what is actually of greatest importance in life.
Funny, my first reaction to the first part of this statement was, sewing buttons and balancing books is a beautiful service to heaven, if done with joy. Reminds me a bit of: "Before enlightenment, chopping wood. After enlightenment, chopping wood." The beat goes on.
Found an old notebook yesterday from several decades ago in which I had asked a question like, 'How might I feel most secure?' And the answer was 7.2.4 > 16.
I think I understand the response better now: If I attack my task or if I attack other people, I'll certainly lose my peace of mind. To avoid apprehension, don't attack the tasks and don't attack other people. That's simple enough, but not for us who are used to tackling projects with a great deal of tension.
Being a task attacker too ... got the job done with great enthusiasm.
