I keep getting 33.6

I have asked three questions recently and got the same answer for all of them. The questions were:

What is my destiny in this life?
What is my purpose in this life?
Am I supposed to help people in this life?

33.6 was the answer I received for each question.

I have been very interested in various spiritual teachings in the past, and maybe the cheerful retreat the line speaks of could be referring to some kind of inner detatchment. I'm not sure.

Also, I am in pretty bad health, maybe the retreat is referring to death? (Which doesn't sound so bad to me). I asked if it was referring to death and I got the answer 44.5.

Any help with these reading would be greatly appreciated.

Am I supposed to help people in this life?

this says to me that this is what you feel deep down is your purpose already, and if you look at 33.6 in that light the way you would help people is by being a influence from the sidelines, that's the way great teachers are. They don't do it for their students, they provide support and encouragement but ultimately the student does it for themselves...they provide the opportunity for someone to find the extent of their own potentials.

But you basically asked the same question three times, were you hoping for a different answer?

Line 6 reminds me of Dustin Hoffman in 'stranger than fiction'. He is smiling and briskly walking as he is telling Harold that death is most likely but that's a good thing because now he can live the life he's always wanted to live. He is detached but not unsympathetic, he helps but without taking on harold's deep sense of doom.

44.5 > 50 ...my guess is there is some extra source of energy/health for you to draw on within yourself, but I'm not inclined to look deeply into that as I'm not sure if the I Ching can really answer that question. In any case death is a certainty for us all so why ask about it? like the move excerpt I described above, while you are alive...live your life. Maybe a good question could be what can i do to help my health increase? what can i do to give myself a sense of meaning?

I too am sorry you are feeling poorly.
It is pretty unusual , in my experience, to get the same line 3 times! it would be hard to decipher the meaning, but 33.6 is a very beautiful line and implies abundant resources. my first thought is that you have already sown compassion, and there is a sense of satisfaction, accomplishment...it is possible the accomplishment is not even conscious. And i really love what chingching says! In some ways, after a certain point, a person of spiritual accomplishment can retire from the "drama" of life and be a valuable point/source of consciousness, affecting others without even any physical effort.

33 line 6 is a beautiful exhortation to cash in your chips
and hang up your boots and go build your beautuful retreat
on the mountain top and mull over all that is beautiful and
worthy. Visitors may come and partake of the oasis of
peace if they wish. But to me it says it is honour yourself
and your life time. Write memoirs, indulge in your passions
