As I said in another tread, the meeting with my boss went well and I obtained the reduction of working time I asked for. Even if I have problems with my colleague, I preferred not to speak about it (my boss asked, but I just said that we don't have good relations and didn't want to tell more).
Some backgroung (it is long): last week, on friday, I made a big mistake at job and on monday my boss called me to speak about it. He was upset and I admitted I had no excuses. He was upset for the mistake and because I didn't call him to tell and he said he was upset with my colleague as well because she neither called him. My colleague asked me what he told and I reported her what he said. I guess she got angry and later we had a discussion about other things.
Tuesday we had to have a team meeting with the boss and other people of the company and just before we went there she told me that she had asked for a meeting with me and the boss to discuss our problems and of course in her opinion I'm the problem, I'm the one who's not able to do the job (I admit I have a lot to learn about this job and that she has more experience, but she is not perfect and she has always treated me as if she had an upper position, role, but this is not the case). I got angry myself because I thought her behaviour wasn't correct towards me, she could have told me before calling (the "problem" the day before was that I let the children paint a paper roll without consulting her on how it should have been done).
I had already decided to ask my boss for the reduction of time and I wanted to tell him after the meeting. Unfortunately he had another commitment and couldn't be there, so I sent him a message asking for an encounter and he immediately called me back and we agreed for thursday.
When she descovered it, my colleague got upsent, thinking I asked the meeting to speak on her back before the meeting she asked (the boss, who guessed my request of leaving that part of my job, preferred to see me before), but this was not the reason.
My boss gave us a new meeting to arrange what to say to the school and when for tomorrow, but my colleague insisted to have a private meeting with him before (and at the end he gave her an encounter for yesterday morning).
I know I already obtained what I wanted, but I asked what I had to expect from the meeting between my boss and my colleague, the answer was 8.1>3.
Then I asked how the meeting of tomorrow is going (I don't want to quarrel, next week will be my last week with my colleague), the answer was 53.5>52.
Thanks for any suggestion : Archi:
