Sorry, relationship question: Hex 1.4.5 (Changing to 26)

For the past year and a half I've been in a relationship that has at times been rather difficult, but has also been extremely loving and beautiful. We've broken up several times (for short period of times) and have gotten back together. Broke up again a month ago, but have been in communication and are meeting this week for the first time since the breakup. I know that he loves me deeply (as I do him) but really unsure of what he wants at this point. Can you please help me interpret Hexagram 1.4.5 (Changing to 26) in response to the question "Does S. want to get back together with me?"

Sorry to bother, but does anybody have thoughts on this reading? I realize it's not the best way to form a question -- which is one of the reasons I would really would appreciate insight.

Isn't there some way to stabilize this on again, off again relationship? The pattern itself suggests that you will be back together. I think S. wants something more solid, something he could bank on, like shared memories. Picnics (not eating at home) and hiking come to mind.

Let me share my humble experience.
For me the combination 1>26 has meant something like "your call is important to us", in other words, being "on hold", not the most pleasant time. But in line 5 that dragon has to appear, some decision manifests. Might be quite a long time until that happens though...
