Hi guys and gals. Im fairly new to this as a whole. Im suffering from delusions (auditory) that seem so real. So real infact, I get confused. It causes me great amounts of anxiety and fear. Im talking troubles in my marriage, because I feel certain things but am not sure what is rreal sometimes. Heres my question and my reading. Following, I will include what my interpretation of my reading. This is very important to me.

Why is what i think different than what is happening in my life?

Hexagram 61, Inner Truth
61.gif

Key Questions
Where do you place your trust?
What feels true?
Oracle
'Inner truth. Piglets and fishes, good fortune.
Fruitful to cross the great river.
Constancy bears fruit.'

The old Chinese character for 'Inner' probably shows a drum mounted on a pole. It suggests centrality and balance, and also the vibrations that carry through inner space. And the character for 'Truth' shows a bird's claw over a child, suggesting the mother bird protecting her young. It also means confidence, and the sincerity that inspires it – absolute presence and concentration, creating a true connection. The very present truth vibrates through you like a drumbeat; you apprehend it directly as an inner resonance. The lines of the hexagram itself show a space at the centre, open to listen and resound with the intensity of experience.
Piglets and fishes are symbols of wealth, plenty and luck. They are staple foods used in humble offerings to the spirits: to receive piglets and fishes shows that you are in a state of connectedness, and can trust you will be provided for. Success in ongoing ventures (rearing your pigs), and the insight to be in the right place at the right time (placing the fishing nets) are both manifestations of your inner truth. And so it is good to commit yourself: inner truth will naturally move you towards new landscapes, as the inner hollow of a boat would carry you across the water. You stay true to your understanding by carrying it through into action, translating the moment of insight into responsiveness as a constant way of living.

'Above the lake is the wind: Inner Truth.
A noble one deliberates over legal proceedings and delays executions.'

Sequence
Inner Truth follows from Hexagram 60, Measuring:
'Measuring and also trusting it, and so Inner Truth follows.'
Pair
Inner Truth is paired and contrasted with Hexagram 62, Small Exceeding:
'Small Exceeding steps over the line; Inner Truth means trust.'

Changing Lines
Line 1
'Guided, good fortune.
There is another, no peace.'

Line 3
'Gaining a counterpart.
Maybe drumming, maybe resting.
Maybe weeping, maybe singing.'

Line 5
'There is truth and confidence as a bond – no mistake.'
Line 6
'Cockcrow rises to heaven.
Constancy, pitfall.'

Hexagram 46, Pushing Upward
46.gif

Key Questions
Is this something you can commit yourself to?
Where might it take you?
What is the next step?
Oracle
'Pushing upward, creating success from the source.
Make use of seeing great people.
Do not worry.
Set forth to the south, good fortune.'

The old Chinese character for 'Pushing Upward' shows a small ladle used to measure out offerings and official salaries. It suggests a step-by-step ascent, one measure at a time. This is a vigorous, active time. Come from the source of inspiration and involve it in your work. Make good use of seeing great people, whether in the flesh or with your inner vision, to charge you with the energy to begin your ascent. Use them to inspire you with a vision of possibilities, and for information and help on how to move on upward.
Hard work and steep slopes lie ahead, but the oracle reassures you that you need not worry or doubt. Instead, set your face to the south, as the ruler does: align your initiatives with the natural order (which can be read in the stars and the compass), and set out towards warmth, light and activity.
Image
'Centre of the earth gives birth to wood: Pushing Upward.
A noble one with patient character
Builds up small things to attain the high and great.'

Sequence
Pushing Upward follows from Hexagram 45, Gathering:
'Assembling and moving higher is called Pushing Upward, and so Pushing Upward follows.
END OF READING

My auditory hallucinations are making a severe negative impact on my life. The reason is because I feel that there may be truth in them. I hear things about me being dead already and that I need to move on and accept what has happened. I did a couple of times attempt to harm myself. These things sound so real. And im in constant fear of believing. But try to remain calm and make sure things are ok. Im not exactly sure what to make out of this. The interpretation makes me feel almost like its all true. Like i need to be accepting and move forward.

The meaning of Inner Truth is usually misunderstood, taken to mean that some sort of universal truth lies within. It's the opposite of that. It's the purely relative truth of the individual perspective, hence the advice to delay execution and cross the stream, to get more perspective. The ambiguous "piglets and fishes" is also misunderstood. Besides meaning sons and daughters, these are creatures unlike ourselves in points of view, and we have to try to see things like they do if we want to succeed at hunting and fishing.

Bradford offers a very succinct understanding of 61, Inner Truth, but along with this ....

Given how you describe what's going on with you, I'd suggest that you not rely too heavily on this reading for a fix or cure. In fact, I suggest that you consider seeing a qualified medical or mental health professional to address what you describe.

Best, D.
