what types of professions, what fields of occupation are coming to your mind for hexagram 3?
There aren't types of professions for hexagrams, that would be kind of crass wouldn't it.
Hexagram 3 is advice to you on finding the right profession for you, it's not describing the profession. So you need to do all the hexagram 3 types things, look, find helpers which are anything to help you explore. You are, according to this answer, nowhere near settling on anything just yet so it wouldn't be wise to try to finalise choices or anything like that but time to explore.
Water ~ Transportation, courier, tourism, aquaculture, supplying and processing water, strategic planning and analytical fields, cleaning industry, fishermen, sailor, marine biologist, bartender, barista, hair dresser, marketing professional, tour guide, diver, swimming instructor, etc.
Basically jobs that are are flexible, adaptable, and creative.
Wood ~ Teaching, farming, furniture, wood-products, fashion-design, clothing, jobs that require inventing or designing, engineer, handyman, construction work, woodworker, personal trainer, gym instructor, driver, military personnel, etc.
Jobs that involve physical strength or endurance.
Are you feeling any resonance with this approach?
If I had to pick a Hex 3 job for you, it would involve: Creative Writing

I wonder if 2. The Receptive as the resulting hexagram means that we cannot know what will happen next, whether you will go further in this direction or continue to look for opportunities? A seed has been planted at place and time. You be there too. Pay attention to all that is going on. This experience may serve your larger goal too, btw. Maybe what you are going through now - getting impressions, making choices - is all part of the 3. Difficulty at The Beginning experience and as you consciously observe the path you’re on yourself right now you’ll be able to teach what you’ve learned or some how use the experience to the benefit of others. Take Notes!

I'd say a job that allows you to germinate, to discover your hidden potentials. It seems to be a profession you should start from zero, of course with it's initial challenges. I can't explain why it makes me think of self-employment/entrepreneurship rather than working for someone else.
