11.1 to 46 what shall I do to have new works

Hi, I am a freelance journalist woking for a magazine. But I am not working a lot, or at least less than I want. So I am searching other opportunities, even if it is hard: here in Italy you should know people and no one answer if you send an email with you cv
So I asked what shall I do to have new works? and the answer is 11.1 to 46. It seems positive, but I do not see at all the flow, since I sent many email to many magazines and they did not answer. And of course during pandemic is quite impossible to meet people. Also the second trigram seems positive. But I do not understand the changing line which probably says what should I do. Please help me Thank you

When receiving an answer from the Yi, the question is always does it give a direct answer to the question or does it address something else related to the question.


Hex. 11 has the title Flow.
Imagine a river and in the middle of the river is rock. The rock is the symbol for all the "I don't want this", "it is not possible because..", "I tried this and it didn't work", etc. While the water in the river is flowing you keep holding on to that rock complaining you see now flow .

The way I see it is that the Yi gives you an answer on what to do in line 1.Go back into the flow by letting go of the limiting believes. Once you are back in the river (Flow of life) it will bring you where you need to be.
Line 1 is talking about pulling up grass, maybe it is time to do some weeding on your thoughts and believes about this situation . The result is hex.46 Pushing Upwards, Rising, Promotion.
Maybe you'll find a whole new way, something you didn't think about before?


Being in the flow means, being here and now without judging and without wanting to change something. Welcome everything as it appears and you will see that suddenly all pieces of the puzzle will fall in place.

Thank you @Willem D and @marybluesky I asked in more detail What should I do to go into the flow, and the answer went 30.3.21. So it seems I have illusions...might be about the work I am searching? Unfortunately is my profession...and I do not want to change it

I believe this is less negative then you think it is.
First of all, you want an answer about what to do with your current work situation.
The way I see it is that the Yi gives you an answer in a way that, if applied, creates the conditions to receive an "answer" (inspiration) or a solution.

Hex. 21 has the title Biting Through, meaning getting to the core of this situation and/or your state of mind. Line 3 of hex. gives you an indication on what to look for.

30.3 isn't about illusions; I see it referring that you have the choice to sigh or sing. Profit from what you can; it doesn't need to be an ideal friendship to help you going with the flow & forward your profession.
