14.5>1 and 1.5>14 !?!

Hello friends!

I wouldn't want to bore you with the old "he loves me, he loves me not" type of questions, but this time i got some pretty interesting, unexpected answers and i'd love to share them out of curiosity..

So, here is the background (i'll try to make it short). There is this guy(!). He's a friend of a friend, i had seen him before once or twice, but last week we happened to meet three nights in a row amongst mutual friends. I've always found him interesting, nothing serious though, since he's younger than me and our lifestyles are quite different. This time i got to know him a little better and i have to admit i was attracted to him..However, i decided i would forget about it and go on with my life.

Yesterday though, i couldn't get him out of my head the whole day long. I had the strange feeling that there was really something there, like it wasn't just me thinking about him..I do not tend to obsess with people out of the blue, so this romantic, "love is in the air" kind of mood i found myself in all of a sudden really took me by surprize.

I went home ready to start throwing the coins..I wanted to know whether i was making things up in my head or not..I try to avoid "yes or no" questions, so i asked a few trying to find the right wording..

Here's my chat with the Yi in case you can make something out of it:

1."What's this all about?" 53.5>52

I think this one is about me. I've been lonely for quite sometime now so i have the feeling this line refers to what i've been through this last year. That's the positive side of it i guess because it would mean that i'm already through this 3 year cycle and it's about to end..I wouldn't want to think it's only just beggining !

2."Please comment on the fact that i can't stop thinking about him" 14.5>1

This one i find the most striking especially since it's followed by

3. "What can you tell me about the way he sees me? " 1.5>14

What a strange combination of answers! 14.5>1 for me and 1.5>14 for him. Would you say that this is indeed mutual in some way?? I found both readings beautiful but i was so surprised that i can't think of what the actual answer is.. I'd love to read your thoughts and experiences!!

And last but not least

4. "What should i my attitude be towards this?" 17.6>25

That's a beautiful line, although i don't get it often and i can't relate it to a particular situation. It does have a "go with the flow" sense in it though..


OK! That's all. Ready to hear what you think.. I hope i didn't confuse you. I suppose it is impossible for me to write a short post no matter how much i practise!

I think this is a good example of dialoging with the Yi. Considering just the first casting,

What's this all about?
53.5 > 52

Nine in the fifth place means:
The wild goose gradually draws near the summit.
For three years the woman has no child.
In the end nothing can hinder her.
Good fortune.

The 'wild goose' is a bride. Though delayed, womanly success finally occurs. 52 is about being firmly established, so what this is all about is your desire for a permanent relationship.

It is true that i have a strong desire for real life companionship right now, since i've been in an (extremely)long distance realationship for way too long.. I guess meeting this guy did remind me of this need for love and sharing..

I know from experience that sometimes the Yi might totally ignore the actual questions asked and go straight to what the underlying issue trully is. If that is so, then maybe the first answer is a kind of background for the questions and answers that follow..I am thinking particularly about 17.6..Maybe i am bound to follow this deep desire for a "permanent relationship" and see where it takes me..That's nice. Maybe it is time for me to get involved in "the affairs of the world" once again..

I suppose my understanding of this dialogue did go further with this idea. However i am still puzzled by this 14.5>1 and 1.5>14 combination. I would love to read anything you or anyone else might have on this.
