My position was eliminated and I chose to accept Severance rather than a demotion . Towards the end of my severance pay out I interviewed and accepted the first job offer to me. So far it has been challenging. I was sent from a warm climate to a snowy bitterly cold place. The people here are racist and refused to seat my co-workers who represent every race together at a restaurant. The job pays less than my previous one. And the training is rigorous. It seems that we are being set up to fail. The job is 100% travel after training. Sunday is the only off day. During training for 2+ months they don't want you to fly to see your family. Training is Monday through Saturday. I see my co-workers reprimanded for asking for an hour off and taking too many bathroom breaks ( 1 per hour is just too many we have been told). The positives are that I like my coworkers and I am getting a check.
I asked the Yi about quitting, "What happens if I quit?" Hex 28 unchanging, "What happens if I stay?" Hex 3.3.
Thoughts?

28. If you quit then the job is over and I would not expect it to lead to anything - that is, no referrals, you'll be back to looking for a job on your own. Good news is the I Ching specifically says this is not a bad thing - "When he stands alone he is unconcerned, and if he has to renounce the world he is undaunted."
3.3 - 63. If you stay I think you'll continue to feel lost, management is definitely not your kind of people, but 63 reminds us that the superior man takes thought of misfortune and arms himself against it in advance. So I think you're being reminded this job gives you a pay check and you do like to eat so maybe beflre quitting you should have another job lined up.

Both your answers seem to reflect your complete lack of enthusiasm for this place. Sometimes however I find the I Ching will give me a really terrible reading almost as if to force me to consider if things are really as bad as I make them out to be. So I say according to this reading it seems to me you are either going to quit this job now or you'll quit somewhere later on down the road, but these hexagrams could just be a reflection of how you are feeling right now.

THANK YOU!!! I have decided to stay for now and line up other opportunities. I got some much-needed encouragement today from some of my fellow colleagues who feel the same way and a manager who told me that if this position didn't work out I would be eligible for rehire within the broader company.
