22.6, 8.6, 10.6....last line changing and the beauty of it :ouch:

Hello, there is some sort of a pit I have fallen in. Also, on different fields, been getting last line changing casts that have this conciliatory tone to me - one of taking high road and let go... lonely feeling...

Just now I was told yet again that even though work is supposed to start in March, there is still no information about how many people will be engaged and was told to look for work in other places.
Being the last in line feels really sad, since I am not of the profession, just outsider who wants to stick with something. But since work is really almost impossible to find, I try to stay optimistic.
What is my future with firm Z? 22.6<36
Is that optimistic an answer?
I am supposed to take it as it is? As in no adorments, stripping of anything but the bare essence means what?
And what is the significance of last line changing?
I take it that the general meaning is one of "exiting" the given hexagram (situation) into the following one-starting a new cycle.
But how it relates to the 2nd hexagram in the cast?
Any experiences with this please?

Hi Dragona,

I see the relating hexagram as the “core” of a situation and would read it as your true gifts not being appreciated (36), but their not being able to deny your inherent value (22.6), so personally think you'd at the very least be given a good recommendation.

If I understand zhi/fan yao of 22.6 correctly, the tide may be turning (36.6). So, maybe they will give you a break there. Or, maybe being compelled to look for something else will turn up something better.

Forgive my imagination, but it seems like a Cinderella story (!) her true beauty being unappreciated and doing miserable chores. Maybe not even being invited to the ball, but unforeseen good things in the air… (I hope so ).

Oh, so kind of you to answer. However, it is a project I have no training at all in and it cannot be done on such a great scale through other than this particular institution and my only experience was in that place. So I do not see me being transfered elsewhere in situation such as this anytime soon. Kind of tight group of professionals with limited resources.
Plus, we were supposed to be a team but it seems that this saying we in this country have applies, something like "musicians will play only for as much as you pay them for". That is what I meant by saying that I am supposed to take things as they are as possible meaning of 22.6th line.
And with Mercury in retrograde, it is bound to be some setbacks. I can never find a job, a decent permanent one seems not even to be in cards for me and I am so stressed out that constantly adapting with new would be just too much for me at this time but I am not to say a word about it because in this situation, not craving any kind of work offered is considered presumptuous.

Soon to have a 40+ birthday, brokenhearted, loosing looks etc., with no money or a steady job or group of friends or even a place to call my own, it sure does sound, well, maybe not so much Cinderella as some SA soap perhaps...or I could inspire some 100 episodes surely. Well, not exactly. To me relating hexagram represent the place where I come from, main hexagram is the real deal and the changing line is the advice or clarification or the judgement even. That is how readings work for me most of the time. Sometimes I see it as the given hex and the changing line(s) tell me if you do this, or this come about it will result in the 2nd hex.
The last line changing mostly gives the idea that something is in one way or another, done deal...and when it speaks in general ways, using symbolic, feels like resulting or beyond my control sort of a thing....

Too partial to see the meaning-that is why I posted.
When it comes to Fan Yao line, I kinda tend to go and read it as the idea what it is NOT telling me or perhaps may be the other side, as I think it was said it is a "mirroring" point of a view, inverted then.

This just in. There is 36 oppression, called small funds. I am not to be engaged because of it (and other professionals come before). Not even a hope of future change was offered since it is a long term project.
Seems hex 36 has to do about leaving or quitting.
22.6 now seem to point out to good memories of an decent job.
